  1. Hello to you all again.... I recently acquired a Nokia 6310i phone for my 1995 Lexus, and today I placed it in the cradle, which is situated under the arm rest. Upon testing everything works fine, when it rings the tones come through the speakers and everything is fine.... My enquiry is that when the phone rings do I have to life up the armrest to switch the answer button on, or is there some switch or button somewhere in the car that I have missed.. Any help appreciated. Thank you. Roy.

  2. Hello Alan...Yes time does fly.. It was a very helpful topic.. Mine is a 1995 ls 400 and I love it to bits, some car!.. What type of screen wash do you use, I could do with getting some. Where are you from... I live in Scotland just over the Border, all though I originate from Lancashire.. If you or any of the LOC members find themselves over in Castle Douglas, then Email me or contact me through here, and drop in and see me, you will be made most welcome

PS.I use what I think is a good screen wash, but it always seems to heavily mark/stain he glass, or is that the norm....Cheers Roy.

  3. Hello to you all again... I have recently replaced my Windscreen wipers, which I found a bit fiddly, however the passenger side wiper is now hitting the plastic stop just under the bonnet, and I wish to lift the wiper into a new position, slightly lift it up. about 1/2inch to stop it banging/slapping on the stop. My problem is removing the wiper from the spline, I have removed the nut, but I cannot get the wiper to lift off the spline... Anyone any ideas please... Thank you Roy.

  4. Hi to you all again, Re new boot seal, to let all members know that 4 meters is not quite long enough. I have just fitted the length of seal from Seal Direct, and it was approx. 2.5 inches short.. I have managed to use part of the old seal to complete the job, and up to now on test, the boot is dry... so to be on the safe side anybody that requires a new seal allow that little bit more in length. The person to contact if you require a seal is Ian at Seals Direct telephone number 01425 617722... Cheers Roy.

PS. The type of Seal is ETS59

  5. Hi Everybody.. I have a Boot Leak on my Lexus LS 400 1995..I seem to remember some while ago reading about this problem before.. Can anyone tell me where I can get a boot seal, who sells it, what length I need and approx how much its costs?..... I seem to remember that one of the members had bought a length of some type of seal that did the job perfect. Can anyone of you help? Thank you all Roy.
