Ahhh boo. I wish i knew that there was a UK distributor!! Then I wouldnt have had to pay the riduculous custom charges!! Grr.

I have recently ordered one of these GROM audio adapters (ipod version for my iPhone), and I am very pleased with it. I wanted to keep the original stereo because I know the rear parcel shelf speakers had their own amp, and by changing the OEM stereo you would lose that amplification. So i fitted it with the help of someone on heres dismantling instructions. At some point soon I am planning on putting a dock connection in the top dash tray so I can mount my iphone up there. Will put some pics up when I am done.

Thanks very much for the offer :) I know the area well, as I have a house in Royston. On an update to people I have fitted the GROM audio adapter and currently working out a way to embed a dock into the dash tray at the top of the centre console. Thanks for the welcomes people!

I have considered also doing this but when I looked at the side of my car I noticed that the rear of the car is higher than the front, so possibly would say maybe lower the rear a slight bit more than the front?

Hey people! Got my first Lexus the other day, and have to say I absolutly love it! I am 23, live in Cambridge and do a lot of miles so having a comfortable car like this which drives amazingly well is great :D Its a Blue V reg, IS200SE, done 64k. Just had front brakes done, timing belt and two new tyres on front, and 4 wheel alignment (all in all pretty expensive start!! but well worth it!). and have brought a GROM audio adapter for my ipod, which I am thinking of mounting via a dock into the dash tray at the top. I love the engine note the car gives, gave my mates a 'crisis' This is now my 12th car!!! Have changed cars cause I tend to get a bit bored of them, but I dont see myself getting bored of this one... so Hello to everyone on here. Sly
