  1. Well my is at the moment has the mark Levinson. That's would be desirable. If not then would have to install a sou d system as I like my music. Basically I want to effectively swap the is for a ct. Long shot but can't afford any more than my is is worth. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  2. So what about the one I've linked to? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  3. Currently have an is250 57 plate. It's costing a fair few quid to run. I love it loads and would be gutted to see it go but needs must. Looking at a Toyota auris hybrid but the ct200h is way more nice. Anyways, I've seen this ct200h on auto trader. Probably going to be my price range due to the price I hope to get for the is. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201512069270268 Yes I know high mileage but has sat nav etc which would be desirable. 4. Can you get performance inlet manifolds? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  5. Can't afford a v8 just yet so the v6 will do for now. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  6. Cool. Then again there's one on prolex UK for the 250 for 1400 squid. Plus there got some other bits. What you reckon on that? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah I've seen lots of USA sites that do headers for the is250, such as ppe. Reckon its worth getting headers imported? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  8. There's a place by mine called cybox that do custom exhausts that's been recommended. Also, has anyone had their manifold/headers changed? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  9. Couldn't agree more. Not a fan of diesels. Even v8 diesels sound bad. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  10. I installed a k&n typhoon to my is250 at the weekend. I personally can feel a slight difference in power. The sound of it brings a smile to my face. I love it. Next is an exhaust system :) Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  11. All due respect, don't bother with normal bulbs. If you want something like hids then go for LEDs in my opinion. Ive done many cars with his but on my current lex LEDs are the best all round.
  12. And even I can install them with taking the airbox out so I'm sure you can.
  13. Yeah they're road legal. Give a better pattern than hid and not blinding. And they come on straight away, no warming up. Dnt know if I'm allowed to tell u we're I got them from but it was HorizonLEDs.
  14. There's one somewhere on here can't remember we're tho. Recently the kit failed because someone who borrowed the car broke em somehow. Think I posted on here about it. Since then ive bought an led bulb kit from the tinternet. After loads of fannying around they just replace the old bulbs and no need for drilling. Look awesome too. And I got the sidelights changed to cree LEDs too.
  15. I'd get a hid kit myself. Put one in myself and its been great. Passed its mot with no advisories.
  16. Ok. Ill try the original ones back for the time being. Stupid question but i assume they will still work ok?
  17. Hi all, long time since my last post. Ive got an is250 57 plate. Not long after i got it, summer last year, i installed hid lights. Theyre great and never had an issue with them. So, it comes to yesterday when a family member borrowed my car. I get a facetime call while they are at the petrol station showing me how the car wont start. Its was makig a clicking sound and wouldnt start. In the facetime i could see the hid lights flashing also in a reflection. I went out to the car and a few google searches showed that the battery may be low. Log story short i got it started and noticed that the headlights are not working. The car starts fine now so assume the battery has recharged. But still today the headlights are dead. I have checked the fuses for headlights in the fuse boxes as per the car manual and they are fine. Anyone have any suggestions or answers whats up with it? I love my car and dont want to spend a fortune fixing it :s
  18. I have a vibe ac12 sub and a vibe monobox amp. Used it in my old car and it was amazing. Sold the car and left the wiring behind. So would i not take the signal from the stock sub and use that?
  19. As the title says. How is it done? I understand the ML system has a separate sub. Do i use the connections off that for my sub? How is it done as cant find a definitive answer?
  20. Got my is250 in july. Ive noticed that when it starts up, when it feels like, it make a nasty rattle sound like metal clattering about. Anyone had this? Fortunately, lexus liverpool have agreed to fix it under warranty which im made up about. Just wondered if anyone could tell me more on the issue?
  21. I'm wanting to put some hid lights on my new 250. Just to make it look a bit better. Has anyone done this with the leveling system still working? I used to have 50w 5k hids on my old 200 and the leveling was fine. Any advice on a good hid kit. Preferrably 50w?
  22. Well i inevitably went and bought the one from lexus ha. To be fair i'm made up with it. Its got loads of spec, spotless insode and out, full lex service history, And as a bonus when i went to pick it up, there was a tracker folder in the glove box!! Im well chuffed with that. Next payday im Going to get it set up. Pay membership for the life of the car as keeping this motor for a while now. Something i'd like to do with it is get hid's put on. Anyone point me in the right direction in order to do them? Pics to follow
