Found the explanation of the warn thing, and no i dont read all the forum only the soarer related stuff.....sorry

I was talking to a guy the other day about removing the cats, he reckons you can remove the fitted cats and remove the inside and replace the original pipes. Does anyone know anything about this, better still does anyone have photos of the inside of the cat. p.s what does the warn thing mean under my avater.

Darren when i was looking for a soarer i lookedat a 4.0 gt, this had no rear wiper and the brake light in the rear window, it also had the standard spoiler without the break light or camera. But i dont know how common they are.

De catting and altering the air intake will gain about 20 bhp and will improve economy slightly.

The american version is a toned down model and had coil suspension, no electronic dash or emv and a lot less options. So be careful buying parts from the states. Most engine parts are the same as the ls400.

Did you see top gear on sunday the new car from oz looked very much like a soarer and had the performance to match.

I have the original 15" alloys, couldnt even give them away. So i shall keep them with the car.

The rear center lexus L badge looks best from the sc430,this is slightly larger than standard and covers the holes in the boot lid. The badges i got came from the lsoc but you can get them cheaper from the dealers.
