  1. Hi Guys, Anyone ever noticed the front wheels on their lexus a little wonky when on full outwards lock? Seems my front right wheel leans outwards when it's full-locked, locked the other way and checked the other wheel but it doesn't look as wonky :s. Car drive's fine and everything and is still covered by warranty. Anyone else had this problem or noticed this? Not just a Lexus tactic to assist with cornering as it's rear wheel drive is it as i've heard of car-makers trying things like this. --Pictures to follow...
  2. Hi guys, on the subject of servicing, i've got an 07 IS220d SE, which is nearing it's first major service now, and lexus oxford is trying to tuck me up for 400 - 500 for this as apparently it's one of the bigger services, they already tried to tell me my rear tyres were on 1.6mm each, and they were 4mm each i had them re-checked at another garage, are they trying to screw me?
  3. I'm with col on this one, i've got an 07 plate IS220d SE, and it's the bollocks, love it to bits. The seats are among the most comfortable i've ever sat in, to hell with the back ones as it's my car so i don't intend to have to endure a drive in the back, but i've managed to get some of my tall friends (up to 6" 5) in the back when neccesary so it's not too bad. I'm also 6" 2, and there's no problem with my height in the front whatsoever. As for the boot space, i can fit a toolbox, first aid kit, 65 Watt Bass amplifier and a PA speaker in it, so it's pretty decent sized, but not the biggest out there. Hope this helps.
  4. AH HAH! I knew it... cheers guys, sneaky lil fecker was off, had to change the bulb anyway, talk about starting at the bottom of the league huh guys :P. Thanks fella's.
  5. Consider yourself lucky if it's a slow puncture mate, guess you got a new innertube in there? i did the same thing about 3 weeks ago at about 30mph, massive clunk, was one hell of a pothole. cut about an inch gash in my tyre, was flat inside of 10 minutes, i had to park up just after that pothole anyway thats when i noticed my car was lopsided . cost me a sodding new tyre which as you guys know is £200 down the pisser easily for a rear wheel. even i was lucky not to do any damage to the alloy or anything, they checked the balance when i had it replaced.
  6. I've had my IS220d for a few months now (much as i hate to jump on the "is220d rocks bandwagon, I love the sh*t out of it, kickass car) am i going completely insane or is there no boot light in the ..well boot, i find this incredibly hard to believe as for one, it's a lexus, more lights and gadgets around the car than my girlfriend has useless crap in her handbag. Obviously i didn't just assume from the lack of light, i've had a good root around to see if it's simply a bulb thats blown but i honestly can't find a light anywhere :S. Is it just a little ninja, or does the car really not have one? If so, anyone got any good ideas on LED lighting and crap i can pickup from ebay and fit myself? Cheers,
