HOPE THIS HELPS , I HAD CAT 1 ALARM FITTED ( LAZERLINE ONE ) TO MY ALTEZZA AS IT DIDNT HAVE ALARM FITTED WHEN I IMPORTED IT AND INSURANCE INSISTED ON CAT 1 OR 2 . THEY HAD PROBLEM WITH CENTRAL LOCKING AND THEY RUN 2 WIRES THROUGH LOOM TO DRIVERS DOOR IN THE END :duh:

can i point out a problem i see happening , i have just imported an altezza from japan and got it through a sva test by putting it through as disabled but laws changing later this year and you cant do this you have to put it through a esva test , which posses problems with imports from japan because you cant get certificates for some of the installations so it has to have lab tests which is very costly . so check in to this forseable problem please B)

with regards derestriction , your speedo should have been converted to mph i presume to pass the sva test when imported , tne chip i soldered in to convert derestricted it at the same time . hope this helps :winky:
