Well its all been done today and all that I can say that the car is perfect better than what expected very happy thank god trouble free for once lets hope I don't get jinxd lol, I would recommend pro-tec performance to anyone they get on with job and theres no messing about hopefully going back to them for full stainles steel exhaust system decatted maybe a Miltec one or a Blitz one and also for a induction kit and on the lines there might be a piggy back ecu remap aswell soon find out. I'll let you's know.

well spoke to Pro-tec Performance and the parts that they are going to replace are, rear discs, front passengers side caliper, ebc green pads, and also price up exedy clutch kit also full service and all fluid change, Gearbox etc... I talked about adding power but I don't think they have that much knowledge about these cars so left it at that. Its going to cost abit but its worth it love my pride and joy too much lol. Anyway as the post was about SilverLine-Racing hopefully I will be using them at some point so fingers cross and hope its soon as i'm craving for more power. More Power = TAIL HAPPY lol.

So Peep's how may have use's have written of their lexus is200's or you have loaned it someone and they have crashed it. I admit that I stuffed my previous is200 in a barrier on Xmas day which damaged and bent all the wheels and also the passengers side was all badly caved and scraped in. Wish I had the pics to show as they were on my old phone. I'll put my name down first anyone adding on to the list/ Also Pic's would be great i'm going to try and find mine. Crashed is200's Owners Shaz.

mine is doing the same as you know my drivers side caliper seized about 3months ago then had that changed by charlesworth motors then i started hearing some stange scraping and creaking noise's when turning and breaking which till this day comes and go's while i'm posting know it has started making that noise again today and also to top it off the passengers side's caliper has seized and has just stuck on as well lol problem after problem ey?

Also have anyone used or heard of Pro-Tec Performance/Motorsport in preston they are Group N and A specialist (they can be searched on google) but they also do general cars as well so was just wondering shall I give them my car to do some work on. Because they have done work on my brothers Evo & Celica GT4 and also they are going to do the sump leak on my older brothers Volvo 850 R.

So I supose I should use them then when I get some money together to do my mods that I have planned.

Sorry if I appear dumb, but you seem to quote various insurance costs, which all appear to be with you as named driver. I must have missed the post which stated that you had now got insurance in your own right with Bell for £2200. I must also have missed the post stating that you were now the owner on the V5, if of course you did post these snippets of relevant information. ??

My name matey wasn't when it was insured on my dads name but i have changed that over :)

Sparky i can afford insurance but rather pay 2-3k insurance on evo instead of lexus thats my opinion

Hi peepz just wondering who's the youngest person on here that owns a lexus and that is insured on their own name instead with their parents like mine is pretty annoyed about that i've had my licence for 1 year and i have 0 ncb because i was insured on previous lexus is200 at 18 so that ncb went to my dads and also it cost £2,250 fully comp with cis and know they wanted over £3,000 and me as a 2nd driver not happy at all :megaangry: Help with different and better insurance comapanys would be good with me as a main driver so that i can get my ncb and build them up.

I'm going to buy a set once i get the new passengers side caliper as its seized can any one direct me to where i can get these brakes and discs thanks. Shaz
