I did see one on Autotrader that looked good for £595, but it's gone.
However, THIS ONE looks good for £575.
Thanks

Andy,
Give yourself a slap round the face and keep it.
I wish I was coming down tomorrow now, I'd give you a clip round the ear and tell you to keep it.
I was selling mine over Xmas, but then after driving it once more, couldn't bear to let it go.
Keep it mate, you know it's the right thing to do.

Speak to Andy about parts if you're going main dealer....
He's the parts manager at Lexus, Poole (Hope you don't mind me putting you forward Andy :) )
Thanks

Hi Rich,
I don't know anything about the IS, so I won't comment. Welcome to LOC though :)

Hi Dart,

Steve,
Does it bolt to the lower suspension arm behind the hub? Has a bush at the front?
If so, it's called the "strut bar"
Thanks

Hi and welcome to LOC.
I think the MKIII is a more modern looking car. It's simple things like the exhausts are not visible from the rear as they are tucked up under the bumper.
Isn't the gearbox different on a MKII and MKIII? When did the 5 speed aouto come in?
I do think, as in the case of Ruud's, they look great with the white lights on the front.
A couple of months ago, I tried to sell my '98 MKIV for £1500 ono and I was over run with people asking if it had stainless exhaust, cambelt change and suspension in good condition. Not sure about now, but it was definately a buyers market then. I have now been cured of my madness and decided not to sell the LS.
Go get one, you'll love it. Before this I used to always drive 7 series BMW's and the like and never thought any car could touch the 7...Well the LS blows it out of the water, and mine has 215,000 on the clock.
Thanks

Rick / Andy,
I decided to replace the balljoints myself today. After 11 weeks off work, I just needed something to do!
I had to replace the RH track rod end too (Andy, just out of interest, how much are these at Lexus).
So let's arrange to meet up for the sake of it...
Thanks

Andy,
I know we were going to have a meet to sort my lower balljoints out....Well, I'm afraid I have some bad news! I did them myself today :)
This means that we will have to arrange to meet for no reason, other than to meet :)
So mate, when are you free and where would you like to meet?
Thanks
