  1. This is a guess and not a ***** take.. But find any guide for a car on how to do so and follow that just the disassembly will obviously be different.. Or is that what you looking for how to disassemble? Or just the cleaning process?
  2. Not to chuffed.... Been keeping a eye on a seat rail on the bay and he seems to sell them allot and then as soon as I buy a seat and want to buy a rail he's all sold out!! :( bad luck hey?.. Anyways.. Anyone know where else I can get one or anyone who has one for sale? I've seen them in japan but shipping is silly.. Cheers
  3. Had a car did the same thing... As said might be in limp mode but mine would do the same thing cause or the afm and another problem on this car was the egr valve... Get a fault code reader worse comes to worse.. I got one off eBay for the car I'm on about for £20 I think.... Helped allot.... Just my experiences
  4. Yeah top of the engine I'm a bit worried about....lots of extension bars I'm guessing...cheers for the info dudes... Also is the clutch a 'carm unit'?? Or am I just chatting waffle?
  5. not in an aristo but thought id share.. was in my lex in covent garden..parked it up for some food came back hours later and had some canadian guy saying 'ahh some guy was out here asking who drove the car' haha made me laugh then waffeled more about it etc.. made me and the misses smile :)
  6. ok sweet sounds good and no no ramp..just get it as high as i can on my front garden.. and i intend on taking the whole box off as im doing the flywheel to..cheers for the replys :) also gear linkages.. i was under my car not long ago changing the gearbox oil and diff oil but didnt look at the gear linkages... pretty easy to get off? or do i have to do anything inside the car?
  7. Sweet :) is it worth doing the cylinder at the same time?? And should you have to bleed it when putting a new clutch on?
  8. Basically looking to change my clutch soon and doing so myself... Basically is there anything to look out for? Also for the clutch fluid... Does it share the same reservoir as the brake fluid? And is it easier to drop a engine mount off to get to the top bellhousing bolts? And anyone know how many there are? Cheers dudes!

  11. Yeah i was pretty lucky to see it was in there :) still in there and all as it should be.. Just read on an altezza forum that some dude took the shifter/selector bit out mistaking it for the filler :o

  15. Basically cars on the drive and got to rush as the Fu**ing neighbour want to get his car out... (shared drive) and I took what I thought to be the drainer... A hex plug type thing... Had a spring behind it.... No oil came out... So bit worried as to one what the hell have I just done and two why no oil came out so I tried putting some oil in and only a wee bit seemed to go in before it seemed like it was full?? Help
  16. 215/40/19 if you can find that size will be fine... If not 35 profile will be fine just the 40 will be a tad more comfy...

  18. well this sounds silly but they did fit over the brakes but i didn't have any of the nuts with me... and the holes for the studs to come through are really big in diameter.. got the bolts now and they have like a massive shoulder on them if that makes sense.. so yet to try them with the nuts, was just wondering if anyone had put anything on like that diameter before (brake clearance)

  21. At nearly half price and all brand new ;) and all legit ;) just get searching and then you'll find some if your lucky :)

  23. i think i ended up paying like 180 posted on the bumper itself.... then had to get it painted as it was blue at first cost 75... so pretty pricey... and the badge says sport inside of it.. my one had a we bit of damage to it like scrapes and that but all gone now.. took under a hour to fit... not hard at all biggest pain was to seal the headlight washers i previously had on the original bumper but i think i might nee to re visit that part again sometime... cheers for the comments im dead chuffed with it:)
