Have to admit, I sometimes only use the aircon to get rid of the smell as well - what causes the smell? Is it just a case of replacing the filter in the glovebox?

Just had a quote for renewing my car insurance for the IS200 - Bell Direct quoted £285. Elephant.co.uk quoted £235! Surely this cannot be beaten - can it?

I know circumstances dictate - but are there any other companies I should try?

It is not an offence to show blue lights on your vehicle - it is only an offence if they flash or rotate, like a beacon

It is an offence to show any sort of RED light to the front of the car (like those Xmas trees you see on dashboards of HGVs) or white lights to the rear (unless reversing light/no. plate light etc etc)

If you are told otherwise, the officer is trying his luck

OK, so my alloys are out of warranty and appeared to have been refurbished at some point before - now they are beginning to corrode again - someone told me that either the Lexus dealer could arrange for a refurb. job or could provide me with second hand alloys that had had a refurb. job with mine in part exchange, seeing as it is a longstanding problem - seems too good to be true - anyone with any knowledge

The alloys on my IS are in generally good condition, but I'd like them refurbished - Lexus dealer in Edinburgh won't tell me who refurbishes the wheels on their used cars - can anyone help - someone local preferably (east Scotland)
