Unfortunately I have the same problem with mine,I caught it while reversing onto my driveway which is a tight fit.I took it to my local Lexus dealer and demonstrated what was happening.He suggested the mounting for the motor that drives the morror had broken thereby causing it to go past its stop.I took it to bits in order to make a repair but the motor itself is sealed.So as a short term repair I have disconnected the drive motor and super glued the swivel into position.This maintains a fixed position but allows everything else to work.I priced a new mirror(with glass)£550.or £260 from a breakers.

Sorry to hear about your ABS problems.Toyo Tech(01642 604103) in stockton on tees are a Lexus independent.I rang them before I bought my RX300 and gave good advice.Hope this helps.

I can confirm the RX SE-L has the sport mode and ML stereo system plus lots more-power tailgate,memory seats etc etc.Have a good look through the RX forum.You'II find its not unusual to have a noisy dash especially in cold weather,there are other faults to look out for so as I mentioned earlier look through the RX forum.My RX300 SE-L 53reg 04 model year has the usual creaks but I still enjoy driving it.
