  1. Hey guys, Would it be good idea for a written tutorial sort of thing to be posted on the website forum for how to service your own callipers? I notice that many suffer from them seizing and wondered if it would help many folk? I could do either photographic or video? Let me know people. Happy holidays

  3. Welcome moana. Im a newbie too. I wouldnt be too nervous about the size, you will soon get used to it. I used to work for saab, had a renault clio then got a company car, a saab 9-3. I thought it wud b like driving a bus. Well it was like driving one but not due to its size haha. Where abouts are u located in the big pile of snow thats sat on our country?
  4. Thankyou sprinter. Thats clears it up for me, means i can definately go for something newer then. Yes its very silly how the government work things out, why they cant go things straight forward i dont no.
  5. Hey all, right i'm alittle confused about this and i've searched the forum and I cant find anything on it. Is it right that if you tax an IS200 on a 2000 X reg or below the tax is cheaper than one on a Y reg onwards? If so is the pricing @£215.00 below the X reg model and £400.00 above? Thanks and sorry to be a pain!

    Help

I dont no much about cars but that could have caused quite abit of damage. Let it thaw, and then check for leaks.....normal (i believe) rad fluid is red so you shouldn't have issues spotting it
  7. Thankyou for the welcome! Ian, i just clicked on new topic in the new members section, filled it in and then clicked submit :P
  8. Hey! New guy, found the site through google!
  9. Hello people! Hope you are all well? So i thought id introduce myself and so forth. Im jonathan, 25 and living in Cornwall, originally from Yorkshire though, been down here a year now. Always been a lover of the IS200. I currently in the process of almost having the full funding to go out and buy my first Lexus. Ok yea i dont have alot of money and im looking at the is200 sport for around £2000 and it has to be manual, but from what ive seen so far, you can still get alot of car for this. Although i am a little worried about purchasing about a lexus with high mileage, looking between 100k - 130k, but please tell me if i shouldnt care about this if its got a service history and kept up well. I was contemplating a jag xtype but the lexus is200 is too much more appealing in alot of ways. I havent owned a vehicle for a good 24 months, the last car i owned was a 2004 Ibiza Cupra 20vt. Nice car but very small, quick but not comfortable and probably drank more fuel than a 4.0 v8. ok maybe an exaggeration there, but only slight! Please by all means say hi, im always looking to make new friends and cars i can talk bout for months on end, im not mechanically sound with cars, i no what a bulb is, thats about it but its always good to learn! Cheers now Jonathan
