  1. I'm hoping to go to France later this year. I'm up to date on what I need to take but I need advice on headlight deflectors. Do I need them on my RX300LE(2005) and how do I fix them if I do? There are no guides on the headlight. I would welcome any advice. Grandpa Al
  2. My RX300 recently had a service and these were highlighted as "needing attention" at a cost of £424.12!!!! My local garage says that the cost is correct-it's a Lexus Only part-but they wouldn't recommend it as a necessary repair
  3. Hi Skip, Grasped the nettle and had my RX300 LE converted to LPG. Have to say that I did a lot of research and that anyone who says it can be done in a day is a cowboy! The garage that did mine also had another RX300 booked in which had already been "converted" but after inspection proved to be an accident waiting to happen. I understand he's a satisfied customer now. Check that the installer is LPG Approved. My tank holds 65 litres and I haven't had any problems with consumption or performance. Happy to give further details if required. Regards, Grandpa Al
  4. Hi, can't agree with previous reply. I've had a conversion done in March and it's superb. I think the key is to spend time researching your local LPG Installers as I came across some real cowboys. Can't speak highly enough of Installer who converted mine. The tank is installed instead of the spare tyre. Mine's 65Litre useable. Grandpa Al
  5. hi skip, i'm really interested in how you get on with your lpg conversion as i share your views on suburban fuel economy, and am considering a conversion on my 2005 rx 300 le.
