  1. I know that there is a problem on the IS220 with the rear brake calipers. They seize or stick so the one pad ends up rubbing against the disc all the time. Not enough to slow the car but enough to wear the discs away quicker. Check that the calipers run over and back freely on the rail, this allows even braking pressure on both sides of the disc, and when you take your foot off the brake, the pads move away from the disc
  2. Hi, looking at a Lexus IS250 original towbar. It's a detachable one, but the key to release it is missing? How do I go about getting another key? Do I need the reg of the original car? Would it fit an IS220? Appreciate any advice

Hello all. check vsc warning came on last night, was able to drive home. engine revs are limited, skid and engine warning lights also on. switched car on and off, still the same. will disconnecting the battery for ten mins as suggested above cause any other problems? will it clear any important settings? Would really appreciate advice.
