yeah thats what i meant youd need to fabricate a hole for it though in the pipe yeah good idea let us know how it goes ive never used an aftermarket panel filter before

id probably use 2.5" and yeah need to make a hole with a gromet or some other sort of design to hold the sensor and then just a case of find a place for a bracket to hold it still

its just long journey thing i think for example on the motorway just set it and forget about it so you dont have to worry for cameras things like that. there isnt much value in it tbh just another 'feature'

the beep you hear is just to let you know your in reverse as it is close to first gear so to stop confusion and accidental reverse, it was added as a feature. if you have a kit on your bumper its probably either there for show or a fault in the wiring if you know your way around a car pop the back bumper off and take a look see whats going on behind there

a "tacho" shows you your rpm thats all some after market ones have shift lights on them which show you an optimal time to change gear thats all they are. and as a valeter i can safely say Auto Glym products are a great product range

thanks for the advice Mick i'll try that tomorrow as its currently getting an alarm/immob fitted, i had a very similar device on my old head unit in my civic except the usb connection was part of the head unit and i also had it tucked away in my glove box but thanks for the link aswell becuase if it does come to that id rather keep the unit in there and use the grom adapter
