  1. Hi All. A question to the experts - My OS door mirror fails to tilt (sometimes) when in reverse. Should I fear the worst?
  2. Can anyone assist please - how can I remove the rear parcel shelf on my 2006 IS250 SEL for cleaning. Thanks
  3. I have read in other topics that owners have had their alloys replaced under warranty, some having done 60K and less. I own a IS250 SE-L on a 06 plate with 47000 on the clock. I bought it second hand a year ago. The two front wheels are showing signs of corrosion but have been 'kerbed' a few times by the previous owner. My question is do I have chance of replacements under a Lexus Warranty, or am I just dreaming. Your thoughts please. Rob.
  4. Hi: Hate to say it but see this thread - I'm sure it relates to yours http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=75998 Rob
  5. Thank you all for responding - I cant remember what I did - maybe It was me or it was already like it when I bought the car March last year. It looks 'Super-Glueable' but how the heck do I get to it? (if I can) I'm getting Hot & Cold air all OK and the flap is in the open (to outside air) position. - so maybe like MattB says - Leave it alone. Rob
  6. Thanks Boris - Yes I did but that was straight forward - old one slipped out - new one slipped in. Nothing forced. With it broken - what are the consequences?
  7. HELP - This fell from the trim below the glove box into the foor well - has anyone any idea what it is and what it's broken away from? I have 2006 IS250 SEL - plus an unknown component (broken) Thanks in anticipation - Rob
  8. I'm pleased to see that it was not just me. Thankfully I have not had any more trouble with it - all seems OK. Still loving my IS250. Rob (Seaside Shuffle)
  9. I am a proud owner of a IS250 SE-L Auto(06 plate) of just three months - yesterday whilst driving a warning appeared stating that the Key Was Not Recognised - Thought this a bit weared as I was actually in motion at the time but decided that maybe the battery in the remote key needed changing. Changed the battery for a new one but still the warning appeared - could not lock the car (only manually) and could only start it by placing the key fob next to the ignition switch (as per hand-book instructions) - thought this a bit weared so I tried the spare key - same result. Now while this was all going on the Low Fuel warning light was on (as expected as I was waiting for that to happen just to check all was in order). Now this is the freaky bit - Having got the car started (as per manual) I decided that I might as well re-fuel, from that time onward all was well - both my key's worked normally and obviously the fuel warning light was out. Are the two connected - is this a way to double warn the driver that you need to refuel and make life awkward until you do so. ????????????????????? Rob
  10. Thank you - Thank you - it's been driving me mad (well nearly) - It worked - it's back to how I want it. Thanks again.. - Rob There's a setting that can be changed via the general settings menu. If you go into the menu where colour etc is changed, it's there somewhere
  11. Question please - When I have the radio or CD player screen up, after a few minutes the Map displays - is this norm or have set something that I dont want as I would prefer it not to - or is it the norm. I know I can turn the screen off but would like it to remain with the radio or CD being displayed. Thank you - if you know. Rob
