      Hi Ray,

      I was doing it wrong ! I have now got the information ( more by luck than knowledge ) that you pointed out, I was not just taping down on the enter button to get to the additional mpg information etc. I do feel rather stupid, but thanks for your help.

      Thanks but I don't seem to be able to find how to get the display to show any of that type of information , would be helpful and might be the key to re setting the main sat nav screen ..

      Just a quick update, I have now , by pressing the enter/menu button for 2 seconds as you suggested found further options in the small info screen. However my options seem to be still rather limited , I can set how the doors lock, how long interior and exterior lights stay on, seat adjustment when exiting the car. But still no info for mpg, average speed, or best mpg. The main sat nav screen still will not allow me to alter what you see in the attached picture above.

      as you say it might be a dealer re set, service due in a couple of thousand miles (60,000) so will see what they say at Lexus Carlisle .

      thanks for getting me this far, the mystery continues.

      Cheers will let you know , I am sure it's just me but I am used to this type of system ie my wife drives a Nissan Leaf and that has some testing logic.

      Thanks again Ray, in the multi information display I only seem to have 5 options 1 parking sensor on or off, 2 Eco mode, 3 hybrid snow, 4 afs, 5 ev. 

      But on the quick guide page 29 it shows up to 8 options including the topics you mention ie current mpg, average mpg, average  speed, etc. I do get rear seat belt reminder briefly .

      so still at a bit of a loss, may be its a dealer set up option.

      Yes I have done the clear button on both screens but after a few moments it returns as the picture above. You mention the info screen , I can scroll through various options but no average fuel option. Would it make a difference if I was in Eco mode?

      Thanks for the quick response , yes I have hit the clear button under all types of situations ie engine running , foot break on , and clicking on the ? Button, when I do it tells me to re set in the "instrument cluster", a bit confusing.

      so still at a loss.
