    PHUT, your engine is overheating, if the temperature gauge says its cold then u have no water in your rad. there may be a small hole in your rad, check and fill the water level. IF your car runs ok then CHECK WATER IN RAD DAILY. if it dont run very well then you may of cooked some of the coils. i had same problem with mine, same lights flashing. let me know how u get on. cheers

    i checked all fuses in both footwells and under bonnet. have i missed any anywhere

    i have both the same problems, my receiver in the car was jammed by a signal from wi-fi or something, i used key to open door and set the alarm off, i couldnt turn alarm off so i dissconnected battery, now the car has no imobilizer, can use fob to unlock car. a lexus specialist says he needs to reprogramme the " double lock door " control box. www.ukteknics.com. + my drivers seat belt dont recoil very well. good luck. let me know if u change seat belt. i cant find one anywhere

    hey stace, i have same year and colour as your is. mine is se too. why are you after a light control relay? i think i need one too as my side lights have stopped working. all fuses and bulbs are fine tho. found light control relay on ebay for about £20 ish. item number 180772271403. cheers. gary from Reading.

    that S.O.B. ok thanks Jomo, i`ll take your advice. the fog lights on my is200 are in good condition but they draw moisture in and the glasses are fogged up, excuse the punn. do you know where i can get a new pair? thanks. gary

    took it out, it had iron filings magnitzed to it, wiped them off. put back in, still wont start. plugs spark all over the show. may get a new sensor tomorrow. based on what origionally happend to it, does it sound like the cam sensor is the promlemo? thanks. gary. gazr24@hotmail.com

    hi ormi, i think my crank sensor is playing up. where could i get one from? 1st problem was un noticed leak in rad, over headted., got new coils, ran ok, slightly down on power. removed water pump but that was fine, dropped a bolt between crank pulley and block. fiddled around to remove it. people say i`ve " disturbed the crank sensor. because now she wont start, fires on 2,3,4,5 plugs when removed, but 1 and 6 only spark once. it will not run though. any ideas? many thanks gary

    got 2nd hand ones ,they work fine, shes a bit sluggish at high rev tho, she got hot enough to ***** the water pump, rad fans dont kick in now. may need new plugs??? due to heat??? hows your running? you on facebook? gazr24 (at) h0tma1l.c0m

    nice on mate, we looked at the coils and only 2 were sparking, swapped them about and confirmed that only the other 4 are fcuked. where did they get them from? and how much were the parts? many thanks gary ( Reading UK )

    my is200 engine missfires, didnt notice the rad leaked while going along, didnt notice water temp go stone cold, engine light and trc light started flashin, pulled over, bonnet up, black / dark smoke was cominf from somewhere? back of engine? ATF from rad? new rad in today, she misssfires like hell, engine light still on. you reckon coil pack? valve? sensor? ( engine was pretty hot) many thanks gary

    well. your not gonna beleive this, BUT, i didnt notice my radiator leak, engine light came on, Traction caontrol light started flashing, then i notice the temp gauge was stone cold, pulled over bonnet up and black smoke coming from back of engine?? or bottom of rad? replaced the rad with brand new one today ( 18/07/2011) now the bloody engine miss fires and shakes like hell, it was gut less on test drive, engine light still flasing, booking it into my mates garage tomorrow. will keep you posted if poss. good luck Gary
