  1. So guys and girls, the start of the show
season is here, the weather is improving by the day (touch wood!) and it’s time
to get the car out and make it sparkle ready for the summer.

Here at Flux towers, we thought what better
way to prepare you other than to give away a fantastic prize?! We’ve come up
trumps on this one and have a Nilfisk C110 4.5 X-tra 110 Bar High
Performance Pressure Washer to give away to one lucky winner!

“How do I get my hands on that awesome
piece of kit?” I hear you ask?

Step 1: All you need to do is call
in on the dedicated club line,
    0800 5876 313 , and
receive a quotation during April. If it’s easier, you can PM us to arrange for
us to call you (Just send us a few of your details, include your telephone
number and email address so we can then contact you)

“I’ve already got my insurance with you
guys” – That’s fine! Just jump straight to Step 2.

Step 2: Once you have received your
quotation or if you are already a policy holder with us, you need to post on
this thread and give us the most imaginative, funny, clever reason as to why
you need this prize in your life. I want you to get really imaginative
with this and make us laugh (if you can). You must complete step one to
be in with a chance of winning, as we will validate the chosen winner by
    tracing their quote/policy.

It’s as simple as that, so get your
thinking caps on guys. I’m looking forward to giving this great prize away to
    the lucky winner!

Terms Of Entry. 1 entry per person.
Adrian Flux underwriting criteria applies. Quote must be obtained via the
telephone number listed or as arranged via PM, in April 2015. Once quote
received or if existing customer, a comment as mentioned in the competition
terms must be left in the competition thread. The winner will be randomly
selected from all entries on all participating forums and will need to supply
details to locate quote/policy when requested. General terms can be found here:

In the run up to Christmas (sorry to use “that” word already) we thought what better way to get in to that ‘Giving’ spirit than by giving away a fantastic prize.

Easy....Just give us a call on 0800 587 2965 for a quote during the month of NovemberYou must call in on this number and mention the forum/club you are calling from (this also means you should get a forum discount too). Call centre opening times are Mon-Fri 9am-7pm and Sat 9am-4pm.

We’re more competitive than ever so there really is no excuse not to get on the blower whatever car, van or motorcycle you have, we’ll work hard to find the right policy at the right price. – Get yourself a quote and be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

  4. Hi - am a long time LS400 enthusiast and owner.

    Just bought a new 1997 to replace a 1996.

As if that is not enough to annoy the wife (who hates the mpg, not the car) I have further worsened relations by buying a 1993 Soarer SC300 as well...... it was just too interesting to pass up on !!

Now trying to arrange new insurance and failing to get any sense.

Being retired I can commit to 3000 miles / year total for both.

Unfortunately this scenario does not fit the usual broker boxes for ticking - trying to arrange new insurance for one owner / one driver to cover both cars and failing to get any sensible response.

The Soarer, being 1993, also classifies as a "classic" - that's another spanner thrown in......

Would welcome any comments, guidance, recommendations, etc, from any member who has faced this situation and achieved a satisfactory solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

Please feel free to give us a try if you like. If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.

    Regards,

    Dan.

  5. It's that time of year again and with a non fault claim and a short ban now on my licence I am looking a bit more than usual. At first glance my policy will only be going up by £200 so not too bad really.

Who do you use to insure your ISF?

    Stu

  6. What are the best insurance companies to go with when it comes to lowering the car. I know some companies don't allow you to and some companies charge crazy prices for modifications. What are your experiences?

  7. Hi Everyone

Recently bought a great 2002 SC to use on fine weekends, high days and Holidays and could not find anyone who would provide me with a classic vehicle type insurance. Even though it is a third car on a 3000 mile max policy. I ran out of time so eventually plumped for Adrian Flux as it is recommend through this site, but still treated as though it would be my daily driver, which it certainly isn't. (I'm no Shiekh!!) Hence I've gone from paying £178 for a 5 litre Merc SL to £570 for the SC, with no end of hoops to jump through, even though I shall be treating them both the same.

If anyone can help it may be worth me cancelling the AF policy and starting again.

    Thanks for helping.

    Hi,

We do have classic style policies that would cater for the type and age of vehicle however they are not always cheaper than standard type policies. If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to take a look at your policy again for you.

    Regards,

    Dan.
