After buying the car can't afford camera!! Sorry!! Car RX (that is, not the other one) same as your's but in a darker colour. Have you still got your one in the pic or have you imorted a RX330 from the USA in Gold Plate. Treatment I recieved from Poole Lexus worst than 3rd rate. Just very pleased to get car!! As explained I paid if full for it and was told time after time that they would get it to me, but they didn't. I thought that the next thing was that they would be in the hands of the recievers, and I would loose my money. Dosen't matter now as have car. Many thanks for yopu most excellent advice.

I would really like to tell you what was in that room, but before the changover GRANT, my salesperson, tried to handcuffme!! I could see many people, screaming and trying to leave the room. "Grant told me" that room was for Lexus people and I could go in !! I have heard that people go into that room, but they never come out. It was for that reason that I thanked him, refused to enter the room or have a coffee (it would have been drugged) and left.

Apologies to you who read my reports as after deciding to purchase the RX300 and paying for it in full (To: JohnRX300 The reason I did this was to make sure the money was in the account at the time it was transferred and taken out by Lexus. That was why I paid for it at the time. If not I might have gone to the casino, Bond St. London or just left for a few days!! (I'm not joking) I do appreciate your advice though. To Steve in the:West Midlands" you were totally correct . Anyway I used their demonstrator and now have my car. It was worth waiting for. It is a beautifull vehicle. The value for money is totally fantastic. If I had the money the BMW (at over £50,000) is the vehicle but at just over £30,000 there is nothing to compare with the RX!! Thanke you both for your comments. I'm off to London tomorrow and will see how great the RX really is. I do appreciate your assistance.

I recieved Pooles dem vehicle today. Now part of "LEXUS OWNERS, CLUB" bought and paid for vehilce last week. Aftet 1 week they brought me their dem vehicle. \\have taken it out. Great car. Why can't I have mine, I have paid for it, problem with the onboard computor. LEXUS, THE EXPERIENCE, The experience is total dissapointment, as they cant get the car to u as promised, and then the say mathless service. After what i have experienced matchless service means nobody can match the rubbish service that they provide. I have owened Toyota vehicles for years and have never had any problem with them. Toyota are the greatest. I do not know what Lexus are trying to prove but they will have to go a long way to beat Toyota!

I have paid in full for my RX 300 and was promised it to be delivered on the 1st September by Mr. Grant Jones the salesman from Lexus. Mr. Jones is superb and if I was in the car trade I would most definately employ him. The falt lies with Lexus Poole. I have been told by Mr. Jones (Grant) THAT ALL THE NEW CARS ARE AT THE MOMENT HELD UP AT THE DOCKS. I have telephoned 7 Lexus showrooms and have been told that they have no cars waiting at the docks. I do not believe that this is true but why are they telling me this? I have not yet recieved my new car and I believe that I am being told lies. Mr Grant Jones of Lexus has assured me that I will recieve full car mats, FRONT,REAR,and BOOT, and the string thing that they sell to stop things falling out of the boot. He also said that I would recieve a full tank of fuel. (When you buy a car costing just under £35,000) dont you get a full tank!! I hope I get my car tomorrow, I will keep you all posted.

I was getting my new RX300 today, but have been told its still at the docks? I might if lucky get it on Wednesday, but whatever happens I will get it this year. ( I hope !!!)

:D Im picking up a brand new RX300 SE (without camera and sat nav) on Monday 1st Sept 03. I hope its as good as I think it is. The Salesman Grant Jones has been very professional, he is from Lexus Poole, Dorset. I don't want the flowers, chocolate and champagne, that I can see have been offered by other Lexus dealers, but I hope he will supply me with the car mats. I think he will as we paid in full for the car a few days ago!! I saw him this morning and he was rushing around like a beheaded chicken. He is a superb salesman for Lexus. "I know this as I am a salesman " and he did not do the normal chat and sales patter. I think and hope that I have purchased the correct vehicle. I have a baby son 16 months old and I would only be truly happy if my wife was on the road in a Chieftan Tank. As I cannot get one and have it on the road I have opted for the RX!!. It seems superb. I tested the Merc and it was rubbish, and the BMW is very good, but rubbish for the money. I have bought TOYOTA cars for the past 15 years and have had no problems and they are superb, so :LEXUS" should be better. I will post further reviews at a later date.
