I had serious white smoke coming out of my 2007 IS220d it was embarrasing. You do not expect this from a Lexus. Anyway I went to Lexus Wolverhampton and I must say they were great. They took the car for a test drive and it started to smoke like crazy. They confirmed it was not normal and fixed the problem under warranty. They kept the car for a week and all I know is they put a new cylinder head, new pistons and rings, plus they changed the water pump for free it was leaking. This happening in January and the car has been smoke free since. I recommend seeing your local lexus dealer first as they may be able to fix the problem under warranty.
