Don't worry, I'm not talking white or gold rims. My alloys need a refurb and I'm just thinking outloud about altering the colour of them. I wonder what a slightly darker silver would look on a dark grey car. Any thoughts or photos?

I just had mine serviced at 88k, it's over 5 years old so was charged £159 inc.

After being told by Lexus Cambridge the units can't be repaired and ringing round various car hifi shops, I called Lexus Ipswich who have been really helpful, they can send the unit away and loan me a car for a week whilst it's sorted. I will update again soon.

My '07 IS220 sat nav module sometimes gives an error message stating 'insert correct disc' and can be noisier than normal. I can restart the car and it can work normally, I can't see a pattern to when or why this happens. The car has been serviced today and Lexus have cleaned the drive but said they think the unit is on its way out and it would need to be replaced. Does anyone know of someone who repairs the sat nav units? I would rather not try my luck with a second hand eBay unit, particulally as they are £1000 anyway. Advice and thoughts welcome.

Thank you for there information, the friend who's car I have seen it on has an '06 car and I am pretty certain in has not modified the car. I will ask him.

I have an 2007 IS 220d SE-L, I have seen similar cars auto fold and unfd the mirrors on locking and unlocking although cant find anything about it in the manual. Any ideas? Many thanks
