Great car ... Now I am jealous ...
Is yours a blackonyx 202? These looks great, but do not forget to wax it ...
-
Next time also try to change to a different brake pad manufacturer, certain combinations are less likely to warp...
-
Otherwise, try to contact some Altezza or IS200 breakers ...
I would assume that these parts are not really popular ...
-
For those people that do not know how to use the search function ...
The below is Risky3301's armrest.
Maz and SteveAudioX have the armrest in black leather B)
-
The armrest on eBay is not the same armrest as SteveAudioX & Risky3301 ...
-
Do you know the chassis no of your Soarer? E.g. UZZ32?
There are 2 different sizes ... one is 307mm (same as LS400/UCF20 and Supra N/A JZA80), the other size is 291mm, and that size is not shared? by other Toyota models.

Claire ... congrats and be careful ... since you are pregnant, ask your husband to do it ...
-
The guy has great fiberglass skills, but apparantly not much creativity... I don't like it.... It makes the replica so cheap ...
I rather have the NSX than a replica ferrari... i always thought that they would use a lowly Dodge or so for the replica.
-
should not be any different.

I just couldn't resist, so i ordered a set of DSR UCF30 BBK.
This kit consists of huge LS430/UCF30 calipers and Supra TT rotors.
Since these are new, I did not have had the opportunity to 'test' them...

TTE should be much better.
The Tein SS are the cheapest in Tein's product line, so definitely not their best product.
Also, without the metal pillowtops, ride should be less rough and no metal noises ...

Your current shocks will be fine.
However, I would not buy the factory sport springs, since the price-performance of these is probably not good.
There are many other springs available ... do a search ...

Great looking rims! ... Excellent choice!

you cannot do it yourself.
you need to remove your wheel yourself and then send it to refinishing company.
From experience it will take about 2 weeks for the refinishing.
BTW what color is your steering wheel?
-
You can also redo your existing wheel. If you want a wooden look or a blackwood look, it will cost approx. GBP100-150.
It is not real wood, but looks very 'real'

,and if i was to change the discs on my car i know for sure it would not be with a lexus part
I've tried Lexus, EBC and DBA discs mate - same problems with all of them (sadly)
Perhaps you should also try out different makes for the pads...
I heard that especially EBC pads will warp disks easily!
-
I think that you can try to bring your car to an independent service specialist and ask them to have a look at the rotors. Probably it only need some resurfacing.
I have about 30K km on my GS, and do not have any problems. I think that the Lexus hour rate is is relatively expensive, en resurfacing is not a 100% garantuee, so that is why they do not offer this.
In general the brake rotors will outlast 3- 4 sets of pads.

also ... wear clean shoes ... or even better ... wear scandals ...

another pic

Picture of the genuine TRD grille ... also it only comes in carbon fiber (look).
Notice the fancy box
-
The TRD logo does not look genuine to me. I sold quite a few, but those came with a different logo.

Thanks for your comments everyone.
Still not in the 'Duncan' league, but slowly getting there.
Trying to convince the wife that with a turbo it will take 2 seconds off 0-60 and paying £2,000 for each second is well worth it.
I need a good argument though :D
Thanks
Neil
Neil ... tell your wife that you will be able to spend much more time home with her, because of the faster car ...
2sec faster, means 2 sec more time with her...

So ... no more through up by Judy?
