  1. Donna if as you say you have never been to the doctors how have you managed to "come across a load of Imcompitent ones"?!! I have the upmost respect for my doctor, my dad had a stroke a few years ago he is fine now, he had a cancer operation mid January and is recovering well, quite frankly I don't think you have a clue what you are talking about. Sorry just my opion.
  2. Think we are talking on different lines here Sorry
  3. If you give him a copy of what you are looking for I think he can copy the fonts to read what you want, maybe wrong on that but is my understanding on what he said.
  4. Are you looking for ones to stick on a window? We have just had some done on our vans advertising our web site and telephone number, they were a good price compared with all the other company's who quoted me, I think they will have some in stock as mine were only done two weeks ago here is the telephone number if you are interested Broad Signs 01189 629 629 Mobile 07752 602822 E-mail kevin.broadsigns@virgin.net Mention Maria from D's Auto gave you the number.
  5. I guess that assuming that you are the legal owner of the credit card and have not cloned it or given a false delivery address.
  6. I have been left with the task of selling my mates Toyota double cab pick up which is an Import from Japan because he has gone back to New Zealand. Any how to cut a long story short I needed to get some number plates made, the vehicle is registered and legal all but the plates, so I called up my local parts place and asked them to make me the plates, I was advised I would need the V5 and proof of ID. V5 registered in my mates name at my address, so how can I get his ID, I said, I was advised to bring in tax disc and mot which proves vehicle is registered and they would make them. Well I drove to the shop and the owner went mad, told me he could not do it and was not going to prison for it, which is fair enough. He said I should not of been told that and that he would talk to his member of staff. I can understand the reason behind the dvla wanting to make sure that no illegal plates are made but, surely the next crime is going to be steeling plates from cars and using them in what ever activities these people get up to now a days.
  7. I am sorry to hear of your problems, i worked for a large telecoms company a few years ago as a supervisor I had 44 staff working for me at one point, we were always made to do courses on tribunal and employment law, even down to interview questions it is quite interesting the simple questions that you cannot ask. I think you have a good case against your boss but you need to get the upto date advice on where you stand. I cannot remember the figures but most cases that are taken to tribunal by an employee are won by the employee due to the fact the employer has not documented properly all the meetings and correspondance etc. So make sure that you have documented everything. I think now is a good time to be starting to build up your own business I have seen notes on here by members saying how good your work is, you are half way there, we were in a simular situation a few years ago and started up D's we have not looked back it's hard work but very rewarding, My advice is take your company for every penny and then start up your own little empire. I wish you good luck.
  8. I was looking at the 2k I spoke to BT the other day about it and they are not offering it! How can other companys offer it when BT can't?
  9. Our local fix a chip guy used to do plastic welding (I think that's what it's called) he moved to Spain but I think Fix a Chip is a franchise so you may have a local guy operating in your area.
  10. Well I have just phoned BT to see if they wanted to keep me as a customer as I have seen Broadband advertised with them for £19.99 per month! How this works is it is another sp called BT basics but you are restricted to the use of the service, have to buy a certain modem etc. So to cut a long story short I said I wanted to leave because of their high charges! I got put through to a customer relations officer (who I could not understand very well) and said I could get 2 megs for £34.99 suddenly the price for my normal service was being discounted. They have offered 10% off the £29.99 for a year or if I go to the 1 meg service with them they will do 4 months £36.80? instead of the £40.99. I have gone for the 10% off at the moment but she has said that if I am still not happy them ring back again in a few weeks and see what offers they have on, also I am out of contact and the changes won't effect this. So guys if you are paying £29.99 for your service get on the phone and tell them you are moving SP's! I know it's only £3 a month but it's better than nothing.
  11. Bob I take it you still have not got your car back yet then!! I think it has spent more time with them that you. Knowing where it is I have to say I am surprised reading all the problems you have been having, I have heard nothing but good things about them in the past, although they are very expensive. They charged D once £50 to do 4 wheel tracking that was 4 years ago.
