  1. Thanks for the info, I'll phone my local dealer and brace myself for the quote! To be honest I didn't think it would be as simple as that with the car being so old now! Thanks for all your help guys!
  2. Sorry for the late reply guys, I didnt get any notifications for the thread! The part im after is the actual frame, its annoying as ive got everything else...even the magnet cover! Ive been busy fitting my screen/reversing camera as of late but now thats all done ill consentrate on getting this arm rest sorted! Anyone got any decent parts websites? I dont mind buying from the USA or anything like that!
  3. Hi guys, bought an is300 raised arm rest online from a scrappy (the auction for the car was on eBay, I phoned up and paid for the part over the phone) and when it arrived everything was there minus the hinge bracket. After about a month of them fobbing me off they are now saying it must have been lost in the post and That if I can source another one they will refund me the difference. My question is, any idea where I could get one in the UK? I've tried countless breakers yards but they don't have it in stock.
  4. I've managed to make the resistor/diode bypass but can anyone tell me where I need to connect it? Does it go in the amp or one of the two white plugs that are no longer being used behind the centre console?
  5. Hi guys, I bought an IS200 sport on monday and its got the built in sat nav but because the car came with an aftermarket stereo i am unable to use it.....i appreciate that this topic has been covered to death on this & other forums but after hours of searhing i am unable to find a solution. all of the off the shelf components seem to no longer be stocked online from what i can see and the schematic for the bypass cable is useless to me as i am utterly clueless when it comes to wiring. Someone suggested that i buy a second hand OEM head unit but i dont see the point as i want to install a 7" double din screen/DVD unit with reversing camera in the very near future....does anyone know if someone still makes what i need to get the sat nav fully functional? Also, while i'm on the subject of the sat nav i've found a website that sells up to date disks for £35 (http://www.satnavi.com/lexus.php) anyone know if these are any good? if anyone can help me on this you'd be doing me a massive favour!
