  1. Hi all !! Looking to install an oil pressure gauge, water temp gauge and oil temp gauge into my lexus IS200. One of my friends kindly donated some Auto Gauge gauges, has anybody done this before? Can anyone advise me on where each gauge needs to be fitted within the engine bay? Thanks in advance Connor
  2. Hi all! Just snapped some 18" Deep dish wheels up for a bargain price. With just me in the IS200 they are fine, however one passenger causes them to rub on the back arches... Anybody know any good places to get them rolled in Yorkshire?? Cheers
  3. I'm not sure to be honest bud I got the one recommended in the Halfords guide 501? I'll find the box when I get home and update
  4. So driving along the other day and the warning light comes on my dash telling me I have a bulb out. So I change the bulb and the brake light works, but the actual back light doesn't (isn't it the same bulb???) So I change it again and still the Sam problem.... So the rear left light isn't working yet the brake light is.. Am I being stupid and is there a different bulb? Or do I have a wiring problem??
  5. Doesn't look great does it?? Booked it in for Tuesday for a new belt
  6. Ok bud yeah I saw that one! On the red lexus I believe.. Surely it isn't meant to be cracked between the belt and the teeth though??
  7. I like that! May pay the extra and take it down to Lexus Does the cambelt look bad on the pic in your opinion?
  8. That's pretty cool to be honest! How long does a cambelt change generally take??
  9. Would you recommend paying the extra and taking it to lexus??
  10. The garage who quoted 280 is doing the belt and tensioners bud Thanks for the quick reply!
  11. Hey there! New to this forum seems great.. Gonna post in the new members section shortly... Long story short I bought a lexus with a duff engine.. Required work on the bottom end.. Sourced a second hand engine For £250! Fitte it in not a problem, just checked the cambelt today and it seem slightly worn, like the belt is breaking away from the teeth? Got quoted £350 at lexus for new belt, tentioners. Been quoted £270 at a local garage who have fitted them to IS200's before, does this sound reasonable? Having looked at other threads it seems ok?? I'll try upload a pic of the belt ASAP Cheers Connor
