    Good point mate. Whent and bought a new batter and is running fine again. So will just see if it does start to die

    Thanks for the advise. Just a little confused as the recovery bloke said the batter was nakered. Yet a garage I took it to a day later seem yo think its the alternator. Im going to have to get them both checked again

    went to the shops the other day and turnt my car off but when I tried to start it again it just made a clicking sound and wouldn't start. so had to get some one out to start it with a jump pack which they said the alternator was ok and putting a good charge back so said my battery was knackered. I had some one else look at it yesterday and they said my alternator was knackered saying its only putting out 12volts. so im a little confused

    I havent yet mate need to buy some and get a new set of spark plugs. I havent had the chance to try fix it yet.

    I havent the chance to sort it yet. Mine starts misfiring as soon as I start that car. Its really starting to get on my nerves now.

    Hi ryan. are you any closer to finding the problem with the misfire?

    I had it plugged in to a diagnostic machine today and it said random misfire then said misfire on cylinders 1, 2, 4. What do I need to solve this?

    i think i have just started to get the same problem. as i was driving along yesterday the car started to missfire a feel like it isnt running smooth as it should then my engine manegment light and trc light started flashing. did u get to the bottom of the problem?

    I didn't have a part number. Just ask for the anti rattle springs and the will ask if u have the wire or the Steel plate type. One of mine was hanging out so could see it. But the plates are better and not alot more

    Ok thanks for the help. I want to lower it by about 30mm but like u said I dont want it to scrape on any thing. Also how much did wheels in motion charge to fit it and set it up?

    Would you recommend getting the full kit then or just get some good springs? How much have you lowered your car by?

    My front left shocker is leaking and the front right isn't in best condition and Lexus quoted £380 for each side so was think I would rather get it lowered then have then standard ones put bk on. So I will need the shockers as well as springs but don't want the ride to be to stiff

    Hi Just wanted a little help and advice on what sort of lowering kit I should get. My front shocker is on its way out so thought when I get it replaced I whant to get it lowered. Any help would be grate thanks.

    I had the same problem you can buy the anti rattle plates for the brakes from Lexus. They do two types one is just a wire and the other is folded steel plate which is better. They only cost about £14 for a pair and that is including the vat

    I also have this problem when try to start the car there is no noise coming from the starter at all.

    I hade the same problem with the engine management light staying on and the trc light flashin it was on for a couple of days but the lights seem to have gone out now

    I only had the car a couple of days when I had a check an when I looked it was empty. I filled it up with water is that a bad idea? Thanks for the information finding it all very helpful

    Yea the temperature is staying steady in the middle when the car is warmed up it doesn't seem to over heat and the heating is working fine

    It has 115000 on the clock and I dnt have any record of and service history with the Car do I think it is due a good device really. It seems to drive fine but the other problem I did have was the engine management light came on and the trc light was flashing it was on for a couple of days but they seem to have gone off now tho

    I have looked in the oil cap and it doesn't seem to be creamy. Cant see the reservoir tank that well because of where it is situated. The car had bin stood up for about 4 months befor I bought it. So I think it's due a good service. This is my first Lexus and I don't really no much about cars. Thanks for the help

    Just took the car out for a drive and the engine management light and the trc light seem to have gone out now

    I have is200 sport and it seems to be goin through coolant vary fast. It's gone through 3/4 of the coolant tank in just 2 days. Could this mean that the head gasket is gone?

    Thanks for the help got it book in to a garage in the week. It seems to be running fine but I have two other problems now some times when I turn the car off and go back to start it it won't turn over and doesnt even make a clicking sound from the starting motor any ideas what this maybe? Also my car seems to be goin through alot of water filled it up Friday and got less then a quarter left
