  1. It hurts I know don't start thinking like that i.e when he becomes your patient

What goes around comes around or something like that

I almost hit a 50ish old man on Monday after he backed up into my Bumper that had just been replaced took some paint off

Lucky for me I saw him, took his insurance details

Taking it in onn Monday for it to be looked at

Might be another 6 weeks before they get the part

  2. Anyone got a clue as to who they will be using to do the work???

Surely not ripspeed care of Halfords

    Stuart

CARISMA (Based in Sheffield i think)

Seen some of his work in Max Power

Renault 5, TVR Cerbera and a porsche 911

    Will be watching it

  3. I'm thinking of importing a Harrier with all sat-nav etc. Does the screen control any of the car functions? IE do you control the climate control from the screen. Could I just replace the screen with a nice touch screen and run it on a computer in the boot?

    regards

Hi; my 2003 Harrier has the sat-nav and TV -which I hope to be converting shortly to Uk use; I'll let you know if it all works out okay. I wont need to change the screen - just fit some gismo between the player in the boot and the screen. As I say, I'll let you know if it works out - I dont have to pay until I'm happy it all works.

The screen does cover the temperature and A/C controls as well as the TV and sat-nav. It has a host of on-board computer items such as the trip computer, outside temp. The clock is also operated from the screen and the radio tuning can be done on screen as well as on the set.

If you want any help in importation proceedures, let me know. Mine is a Mk2 3.0ltr - 4x4 and I have the model report on it for rent. I can put you in touch with an excellent sourcing company in Japan who have found my last 2 Harriers.

    Hope this helps - Bugsy.

If you don't mind my asking how much did it set you back for the Harrier?

It's a pristine 2003 car, AIR S, (SE-L equivalent),7,000 miles; cost £14880. There was £525 to ship, £1305 import duty, £2560 VAT, £585 ESVA which still gave me change from £20 grand, which I used to fit roof rails over there (£145).

I've attached photos of the standard -alloys, wing mirror camera, front grill camera and standard rear spoiler ;plus one of the engine bay.

I'm away tomorrow for 10 days but if you want to see the car any time let me know - I'm on the Leics/Northants border. Cheers Bugsy.

    Thank you for the invitation

    Will contact you soon

  4. i had my eye on the Mitsubishi Galant 2.5l V6 Sports... before i realised that beauty is more than skin deep, especially in the case of Lexus

my cousin is getting the galant stated above.

My dad has two Galant GTi's, my mum used to have the Galant GLXi 5dr HB, then the newer model GLSi. You see, my dad and uncle are Mitsubishi specialists... so i've lived and grown up surrounded by the diamánte badge.  :D

the cars produced are faultless... (aside from the Carisma, which i do not classify as a Mitsubishi)  :P

    I have a Galant 2.0 on R plates Auto

Drives well will not fault it

    Parents had 4 different Galants

So I had to buy 1

Might be changing it for one of them 2.5 ones :D
