  1. Best wishes and seasons greetings to everyone, especially all of the club admin guys who make this all possible. Many thanks, Ray
  2. 18/19 mpg around town. The LS430 just floats over the roads, before in my IS200 you felt every hole in the road, every jolt. You are right, I am just looking for excuses to drive it. The pictures are some of those taken by the dealer. I will take a few more as soon as I can. Still smiling Ray
  3. Hi Guys, I exchanged my IS200 for a LS430 (54 Plate) two weeks ago. Can someone tell me when I stop smiling! Everytime I drive it I have a big smile all over my face. It just floats down the road, and I have to keep checking that the engine is running. I know it is going to get me in a lot of trouble, over speeding. I have to get used to the speed it gets to 30mph, and above. Having spent a fair amount of time living abroad, and owninh several American cars. I can honestly say that my LS430 is the best car I have driven or owned. Still Smiling!!! Ray
  4. I have had my 03 IS200 for 3 1/2 years, and have never had a sticking caliper yet. I had front and rear pads changed 2 years ago, and ended up changing both rear calipers. The N/S/R mounting flange had sheared around the mounting bolt. I changed both, to avoid the problem of out of balance rear brakes. It is a definite MOT failure. I will be exchanging my IS200, for a (54) LS430 this Saturday morning. A little bit of luxury.
  5. Hi guys, newbie from Southampton here. I have an IS200 at the moment, but I am looking for a bigger model. I am going to look at a 02 LS430 Thursday afternoon, but also considering GS300 as well. Unfortunately I can no longer work on my own cars, as I am fairly disabled. I am a fully qualified mechanic, and was doing MOT's up until I had to pack it in. Anyway it does not stop the brain working, so if I can be of any assistance please ask. Ray64C
