  1. Thanks Steve, I'll try and get it some where tomorrow. Won't be easy as it will only do 30 mph and I don't live near a garage. Some people say it will be the egr valve and just to clean it out? But I'm no mechanic far from it lol.
  2. Help check VSC has just come up and car has just limped the last couple of miles home. What can be the problem???
  3. Thanks for that. Some of those features would be handy. But as you say its getting hold of the programming module. I wonder if these features work on the IS220D.
  4. Thanks Dave, I never knew they had that. Well that button works, so it kind of sorts my problem. I've also just noticed the key hole to the opposite side.
  5. Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. I didn't even realise that is has a touch sensor on the boot. Where the hell is that?
  6. Hi there, can anyone please help!! My boot will now only open from the button by the steering wheel. I have just replaced the battery in the key fob i use and the boot button will not work. I have tried my spare fob and still the same. I have also tried the boot opener button in the glove box with no luck (what does this button do). Has any one got any suggestion that I can try? Regards, Garry
  7. Thanks Ian, it's a friendly place.
  8. Thanks JPJsavage, already found a wealth of knowledge out!!
  9. Same here, when looking recently everthing pre 06 was petrol. Never really gave it a second thought.
  10. Thanks for the welcome. I thought that was the case but wasn't 100% sure, this is an 06 model. So definitely a second gen model.
  11. Hi Stuart, thanks for the reply. To be trueful I'm not 100% sure but have a good feeling it's second gen.
  12. Hi all, picked up my first Lexus last week. It's a IS220D SE L and im loving it!! It's a big improvement from the Rover 400 I was driving. It's been quite a steep learning curve this last week trying to get use to the rear wheel drive in all this snow and ice, but I have made it through unscathed. I will get some pics up once see is clean again. I am having a couple of teething problems though, mainly to do with the keyless entry/start. If any one can offer advice I would be extremely grateful. Regards, Garry
