ahh i see, do you have any idea how i can test it? apart from in the wet with alot of right foot?
-
Use fire gum gum exhuast putty, or i use a high tempreture black silicone stuff on the joints, just cake it in it and leave it afew hours to set. I have the same decat stainless pipes as you.

I have seen a few about for sale, are they any good?

I have jacked up the rear end of my car to fit an exhaust, testing the lsd i spun 1 wheel and the other doesnt move and vice vurser, does this mean the Lsd is knackered or does it work in another way?
Also i have a fair amount of play in the rotation of the drive shaft, i can spin it about an 1/8th of a turn before it connects. Is this normal?
Cheers

Same here, my old is200 was written off and had them to, along with a twin hks exhaust system that went with the car :(

I am after the chrome aircon dials, i think they only came in the is300's but unsure. Is there anywhere i can buy them or do i just have to wait till they come up second hand somewhere?
Thanks

look on eBay, the pair cost around £340 and there stainless steel... not sure how good they'll be
-
dont i know it, i can just about get a fag paper between the arch and the rubber with 235's on the rear
-
I have wider rears, also dropped on a set of d2 coilobers with 18's, and i have tried 225's on the front and 245's on the rear, and they rubbed....
-
Yea i normally go for Toyo's, but i thought i will give some yoko's ago, 1 came as a spare and i liked the feel of it (strange i know)
fronts are 215 40 18
rears are 235 40 18
Any wider and they rub the arches, any narrower and they dont look right on the rims

I am looking at getting a set of yoko tyres for my is200, its sitting lowered on 18's, is it good to put directional tyres on the front and non directional on the rear? Does it make no difference? Or should it be the other way around?
I would keep all my tyres the same except its difficult to get the 2 sizes i need in any one type.
Cheers

Sorry i cant help you with any of this, but interested in the same, been looking for a supercharger and for the price i have considered going the whole hog and spending more on a 2jz gte conversion, engine around 2k, gearbox.... £4k!!!
I would rather keep the rest of the car standard, gearbox transmission etc.
-
A long shot i know but if anyone is thinking about selling one please let me know

Are you still looking for the TTE kit?
I don't know if this is still available.
Ad has been on there over a week now..
ahhh god damn it, its still availible and i want it :( but i spent 700 quid on a set of coilovers and im kicking myself!!!!
I have been messaging the guy and he said thats is all i need to bolt on and make it work, but i dont see no computer or piggy back thing, will i need one? im not 100% sure on the electronic side of things
-
hmmmm may just stick with the supercharger for now, maybe think about a nice 2jz gte conversion in the future, i can get the engine its just finding that bloody gearbox to go with it :(
-
mmmmm i think i will just stick with the supercharger.

i had thought about the is300, but ive not seen a dark grey one for sale, also there only automatics?
my other option is dropping the 2gz-gte engine in, which is a massive job
