  1. Could it be coils? Sister had BMW was doing same thing replaced and was fine.
  2. I could at a cost and I'm trying to keep it low as ball joint needed just had welding done.
  3. This sounds like my car it's juddering when I accelerate.. engine light on..someone told me spark plugs or coils..is it just a case of replacing parts And hope for the best?lol damn car (female)(no knowledge) :(
  4. I have this problem too..Any updates on solving?
  5. That's a very good point Chris, was i being fobbed off? Well anyway the car is all good runs fine not issue.... Thank you for all your help you have all had some really good points regarding the issues, hoping i dnt need to come back for more advice for a while ;0)
  6. omg just this second had a call woohoo my car is ready, now wanna hear what the issue was.... was a wire that wasnt connected properly grrr but im happy i get my car back. :0)
  7. Mmm i agree and i am assuming that as the car went in for simple stuff that anything else that occures is down to them now or can i still be billed for the unnecessary costs?
  8. how can the ecu be at fault the car was fine drove fine only went in the cambelt and water pump??
  9. they said yes and double checked everything
  10. Well i did relay everything that has been mentioned and they checked it all, the coils none of them are sparking and would be very rare for all 6 to go at once...I now have my stubborn head on realise that what every the issue is with the car is down to them as the car went in working fine...There saying they are stumped themselves with it and a so called specialist is going to go in at some point hmm....can't see my back coming back to me for a while now..grrr
  11. Wow sparky thats a lot to take in lol i have no idea, all i know is its been running fine went in for cambelt and water pump change and now isnt not starting really should be been a simple job but week later no luck, so i will relay everything you have said to them and see what happens :-)
  12. hello i'm back again with another update the diagnostic test showed crank sensor so this was replaced and still not sparking so not being charged for this, i will have a courtesy car tomorrow woohoo...but still have the issue with no spark for engine to turn over.. They really are stumped themselves now..So guys any other new ideas i really would like my lexus back asap .
  13. they put in through a diagnostic test and that's what showed up...I just want my car back now its been with them since last friday now..I feel i have to say yes order the part because i don't know any different.:(
  14. they are saying the cambelt was in a really bad way when they took it off and all the muck from changing the belt and water pump has maybe broke the sensor? its hard to arguing with what they are saying as i have no knowledge of cars..
  15. hello update from garage, test has shown crack sensor.. so with the new part ordered my bill now is £450.. should it be me paying for the sensor or them? as the car went in running fine..?
