  1. Thanks for that help. Still very dim in the cabin though and the setting is on the highest possible. Let me have the number or link for the mobile people you recommended as i could see it in your post. Cheers
  2. Hello All, My wife kindly wrote-off my LS430 recently and we have replaced with a 55k IS250 SE-L 2006 in Black. I drove the car last night and its lovely, just a bit smaller than I am used too.. The only thing is my interior lighting is shockingly bad! I find it difficult at night as there isn't very much interior lighting bathing the dashboard and switch-gear.... Help! Once the door is opened the lighting is better but not still perfect. Any ideas??? Or interior kits?? We are based in Chislehurst, Kent and I also need to find someone that can detail the bodywork. The car is non metallic black and the front end has a lot of stone chips and I would like someone (cheap) to help remove the chips nicely. Any ideas?? Thanks chaps as always.... Dominic
  3. Hello All, I have a 2002 LS430 and I think the suspension is inoperative presently. Car looks high at front and low at rear. It is presently in sport with low ride height, should this be the case as I know it is not a sports car but luxury car. I don't hear a pump when I change the ride height, is this something you would normally hear? Are there any obvious checks I can carry out at home easily with limited tools? Thanks and love the forum, it's always great knowledge. Dom
  4. Thanks for the help. Decided it all works well and I don't really need the rear air on. Fans all operate well. Lovely car except for a couple of niggles....
  5. I have found the same issues, no rear aircon! Do you know how much this will cost to fix and also do you know exactly what fails? thank you so much and I love the forum, keep up the good work! BW Dom
  6. Hello All, Looking forward to many interesting guides on helping keep my new toy in pristine condition. Just sold the old car Porsche 997 and wanted a lovely, reliable large car...so bought the LS430 V8. Beautiful through out and I am really impressed as it is a "52 reg car" I have a couple of bits I need to fix though. I need to source the following items: Front ash tray - unused preferably, ideas? Fridge in rear - is this powered by the aircon? Where can I get better interior light bulbs and boot bulb as they are really dim, does anyone know the part number for these? Do they need to be bnormal or CanBus types? Screen in front has a line running through it, is it easy to swap over? where from? Any good breakers yards for these bits? Boot liner matt? Also, does anyone know of anything that I need to get to keep the car up to date, want to keep it all nice and original, not pimped up. Does anyone know where to get nicer alloys, was thinking of the later car updated versions with five spokes or something similiar for beer money! thanks and look forward to many years of seasoned help! Dominic
