  1. Mark, a few weeks back i enquired about the extended warranty at my local dealer in Newcastle and they told me its now 5 years and if anything should go wrong i need to ring them to find out if im covered. I had just bought the car so i rang the dealership to find out what work had been done to it and i asked about the extended warranty.
  2. Hi all I have been reading these forums having just bought a 220d I rang my local Lexus dealer in Newcastle wanting to know what work has been done to my car during the conversation I mentioned about the extended 7 year warranty on these cars and they said it isn't 7 years now its 5, I asked what this covered and was told just to contact them if anything went wrong but no guarantee the car would be repaired under the extended warranty. So the bottom line is 5 years now not 7 Cheers

Can anyone explain this? cheers

Ive done 110 mile today and im getting just 31 mile to the gallon compared to the Saabs high 40. Now im going to try and find out what works been done on the car and like Steve said it could well have the new engine fitted but goin off the other posts on this forum at 31 MPG i dont think so
