I do not watch the economy indicator but I do drive in Economy Mode as I find it smoother and more relaxing. The CVT also gives a more relaxed experience.

Do Lexus still send out Roadside Assistance membership cards after you have purchased a new car? Had mine 2 months now and nothing?

Thanks Don. Was beginning to think that. At least it’s not a fault. I use the wire to charge also, do not like how hot the phone gets when it’s on the pad. I have tried taken it out of the clear cover but it still get hot.

I have been using the apple Play map as it’s nicer to look at than the Lexus map. It used to go to the apple play map after recognising my phone on start up but the last few days it stays on the Lexus map unless I select apple Play map. Anybody else had this, I have checked my phone and it is connected to apple Play via My Lexus.

Anybody bought a Barbour wax jacket and had any issues with the Lexus leather seats? Do not want to spend a lot of money on a winter coat only to find it ruins my light cream leather. Thanks all.

I would prefer to delete Lexus Link and make it more simple. Unlike most of the population if I go out with my phone so what, but now it seems you have to have it with you. 2 days into ownership the tech guys at the dealer did some some things so when I started the car the dreaded terms and conditions did not keep appearing. 
all good since but to get ready for my wife to disappear in the car I turned off my phone and let the car connect to hers but terms and conditions are back. Signed into the car with the Lexus link a/c being helped over the phone by my dealer but it still comes up.
Email gone off to Lexus from the dealer as there has been issues over the last few days???

I just want a car the both of us or either can get connected and it go to the map.

They’ve taken it off the latest version (with black badges).  I don’t believe they’re cheaping out on this, I suspect it isn’t compatible with the safety systems.   It’s an old wired system rather than the newer rigid antenna.

Still not done many miles so early days but went out today and did about 20 miles on mostly town with a few county roads. I have changed the warning to bleep bleep which is similar to a speed camera warning and did not find it too bad at all. If I was going out on a longer journey on dual carriageway or motorway then yes I will turn it off. Not as concerned about it now given how we use the car.

I masted the knack on my 2019 UX, was told it was not fitted on my 2021 Takumi UX so never tried it but cannot get a bleeping thing on this one. 

The manual says (if equipped)?

Even my dealer unsure, should my 2023 UX Takumi have a kick censor to open the boot?
 

I have changed the alert from steering wheel vibrate to the sound? alert, have not been out and tried it yet but will just get into the habit of turning it off on the steering wheel while I am starting off.

My daughter came down earlier and I said to her about it and she said “oh that’s really annoying on my BMW” so I am not alone 😂

On my 2021 UX when new I found the lane centering was on and it vibrated the steering wheel and pulled on the steering slightly. I turned it off and all was good. Now on my 2023 model although it says lane centering in the menu to the left of the speedo I still have a symbol just above the mileage which I can cancel using the steering wheel button. But the next time I turn on the car the symbol is back, still show LTA off on the menu but I am getting an alert through the steering wheel. Any ideas as I would like to solve it myself as it’s probably something simple.

Picked up my 3rd new UX Takumi yesterday and I am very happy with it. Just had a look and it has Dunlop’s

Got it, top left found presets. Omg that took me ages. It’s on the edge of my capabilities at my age. Is the green light on the phone charging pad on all the time, my 2021 Takumi had an on/ff button.

Picked up my new UX Takumi this morning and very nice it is. Had a play around with the settings. Took me ages trying to find the apple Play button that the salesman found easy enough until I realised my phone was indoors on charge 🙄 

I am having trouble understanding the manual and setting up pre set radio stations. Anybody got a video link or am I looking at the wrong page.

Shocking experience but personally I would delete this post until all options with the supplying dealer or Lexus UK have been exhausted as I feel this will not initially help your cause. 
By the way, I do not think kick sensors for the tailgate have been fitted since 2021. My car does not have it, having a new one next week so I will check again.

I am sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along soon but I can say there is no such thing as F Sport Takumi pack. The Takumi is top of the range with everything and a stand alone model. 
As for tyres try searching for the tyres thread, everyone has their opinions on that subject.  
AVS is Sport models only??

It’s about time car manufacturers linked up their front and rear facing cameras to a recorder with the addition of higher up cameras, My UX Takumi has cameras facing in all directions but I still feel the need for a front/rear dash cam to protect me and my no claims bonus. I have a Nextbase at the moment which instead of being swopped over my dealer is fitting a new one and has added a bit more to the discount to cover the cost. Presumably it’s a good selling point for moving my car on. 

Thanks guys, always get an answer on this forum. I went through the payment part and there was was my assigned 71 plate. Taken your advice and having my new one next month with a 73 plate and I will keep my plate and retention certificate until ready.
