    Many thanks. Have tried the wooden spoon but seems too short Will have to go to garage and get a can and try that - have 2 cans for lawnmower but no nozzles anywhere!!!

    Have not used my RX450H for over a year and after cleaning off the spiders webs a new battery and service drives lovely again but when tried to fill with petrol flooded all over the forecourt. The fuel gage says empty but the dash says 400 miles left? Is there an easy way to see if tank full and gage is broken or can I put a stick(?) in and check? Appreciate help for OAP with no mechanical knowledge at all !!!!!

    OK thanks chaps. Have now had trickle charger on for 10 hours and lights all come on dash but also whole bunch of red ones. Have contacted Lexus Canterbury who have serviced all my past cars and they have recently been taken over by Marshalls(?) who won't service it Can't understand it as full is always over £600 so not who to contact next. Many thanks for the replies especially on a Sunday any suggestions gratefully received Regards

    Have read all the posts re 450h batteries and don't understand a word! Can someone please advise alternative to current battery for 2010 Lexus 450h reg PB03LEX as have been told a Yuassa HJ-S55D23L or search 383745967499 and am now completely confused!!!! Have just spent over a year in hospital and my 450h is kaput so would really appreciate help as can't afford £250 for another one Many thanks

    Many thanks Rayaans have just tried and overv £250. Best deal so far seems to be the AA at £150 supplied and fitted. Have tried Halford and they come back with 74 matches which is ridiculous !!!

    Have jusy been released from 2 months in hospital and found that my RX450h SE L has a flat battery. Can open doors using key but confused by number and type of battery chargers available The battery is only a year old and came with lifetime guarantee but still abit too weak to take back to Halfords Can anyone help suggest please.Many thanks

    Ok many thanks all for really helpful and interesting posts may hang on a year and see if can then pick one up for around £30k or look at the NX maybe as very pretty car and would be big enough for just the two of us

    Have just had a new RX45h (190 miles on the clock !!) as a courtesy car while my 2010 RX450 SE L Premier was in for service and even driving reasonably quick got 38.2 mpg and the best I can get from mine is around 26/7 mpg and the new one felt A LOT quicker - even when not in sport mode. Has there been some dramatic changes as according to most web sites performance etc is about the same. Spoke to her in doors but even flowers and a box of chocolates wont swing the £64k !!!!

    Have searched past posts but all seem to stop around 2012 on sat nav upgrades. Looking to upgrade 2010 450h SE L sat nav and found numerous advertised around £25/£30 but a bit wary. Has anyone been down this route please? Many thanks.

    have looked at joining the Gold membership primarily for the Lexus centers service discount but doesn't list which Lexus centers are in the scheme and obviously no good to me if 100 miles away ?????

    Have just purchased 58 GS300s from Lexus Canterbury and love it but having paired my Galaxy Ace when I transfer the contacts and numbers I get the names ok but all I get are the dialling codes? Have contacted Samsung and Lexus who have been no help solving - the phone is using version 2.1 so is it possible not compatible if so how can I update the car's Bluetooth? many thanks

    many thanks for all your help went to look at it again on Monday and decided to go with a GS300 SE the IS 250c is lovely but am very tall and the compromise at the end of the day was roof off or loads more comfort so went with the comfort and will collect on Friday but can't believe how much the tax is !!

    have also just moved to the south east coast !! doesn't look as though anyone is going to reply though may have to pay for AA or RAC inspection but if buy will let you know how I get on
