  1. I have similar prob with mine, I occasionally get a problem where the remote doesn't connect even after powering off/on. So I tend to remove SD card and put it back and then turning the car back on again and this generally gets it working again .
  2. Hi Adnewton I have a 63 plate advance and have it on admission from lexus that IPhone is incompatible with any non-nav model ct200, I was told to buy an android if I wanted to load my phone book. I ended up buying a parrot and that works a treat. You will find the iPhone will only work with the Nav system in the Luxury or Premium models.
  3. Hi Dave_5150 I have been suffering same problem quite a bit lately and the nav was frequently not connected to the remote. Have tried the power off/on and it's hit and miss whether it works or not. In fact Saturday I tried this routine 10 times and it failed to work. So as a last resort I turned off the power and then ejected the SD card and the put it back in and it hasn't failed since. Fingers crossed it's fixed.
  4. Hi Stuno, yes I know I had reported that further up this thread, but at least it does charge the phone.
  5. I bought the advance and in Jan and got it for 21.5 instead of 24.9 I really like the car. Only downsides I have are the incompatibility with the iPhone and the Tom Tom live services will need to be renewed after the first year of registration at £55 per annum. But if you don't think it's worth paying you can still use the navigation sys. I tried the sport version and the ride is very much harder, so I much prefer the advance. I've never had a Prius so cannot compare.
  6. Hi Jeremy, I have spoken to many technical experts at Lexus and the end result is that the IPhone is incompatible with the non-nav system, but it is compatible with android phones. The only way to use the iPhone in a ct200h that has non-nav is to buy a Parrot MKI9100 as an add on. Lexus Head Office are not worth bothering with frankly.
  7. Hi 200h, I visited the dealership yesterday to discuss the issue with "the specialist" who took me through the process to manually input my contacts. I told him I had read the manual and can do this, but what I wanted to do was import from my Iphone5s even if it is 1 at a time. His response was very blunt and not very helpful, "it can't be done as IPhone is incompatible with the Non-nav system and that I should buy a Samsung." So Lexus are happy to supply inferior equipment and their specialist has an attitude.... Not impressed
  8. Hi Di, I have found that IPhone won't play music via Bluetooth but it does work if you use your USB lead connected to the car and select USB on radio via the aux button, rgds
  9. Hi Di, you are not alone in being disappointed by some very simple technology. My previous two cars had no issues with IPhone contacts and all were available as soon as the Bluetooth had synced up. I thought that something so basic would be available but instead I am in dispute with the dealership, as their interpretation of hands free only means to receive calls..... The car is great but not being able to dial out other than from the phone, is absolutely diabolical.
