  1. Hey, I'll just start off saying I've never had or been in a car with heated seats but since acquiring the IS200 I find the heated seats to be a little finicky, although maybe this is how they work (Though I doubt it) So if I start the car and push in the button to turn on the heated seat sometimes it will come on and I can noticeably feel the heat and other times it seems like its not heating at all. Then some way through a drive I will feel it get really warm to a level I would expect them to work at and it will stay this warm for a few minutes then seemingly switch off. The passenger seat works in the same manner so I'm unsure if this is normal or a fault? Appreciate any input on this, Thanks.
  2. Yeah that's what I was thinking maybe it was stuck and using the key freed it, it was making the unlocking noise but wasn't popping and pulling wouldn't work. I'll keep an eye on it though. Cheers again.
  3. I feel really stupid.. That worked and now the button is opening again. Thanks.. That was really dumb of me!
  4. Hey I recently purchased a 2003 IS200 and the boot was working fine up until today it won't open no matter what, I use the key (holding the button for 3 sec) and I hear the boot latch making a noise. I've tied to pull it up while the noise is there and it doesn't work. I've also searched this a good bit and found that people talk about a valet mode which I've looked in the glove box and don't see a button for. I also tried the driver side boot lever and it does nothing. No noise. I read that some people said to disconnect the battery for a few minutes. I didn't want to attempt this because I don't know an awful lot about cars in general and was wondering would this disable electrics that will then need to be re-programmed? If anyone has any tips or anything at all it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
