  1. Hi, thanks for your reply. I have replaced the clutch and dual mass flywheel on mine and the noise is gone.... but I now get vibration on the gearbox knob.. :) oh, as you said, it seems like its a cheap gear box.
  2. Hi, did you manage to get this sorted? I seem to have the same issue. If yes what was the problem and how much did it cost to fix?
  3. Hi, I bought mine from Lexus Parts Direct (both clutch and DMF) and it came to £1390 delivered. I thank paid £200 for labour and local garage, so £1600 in total. Hope this helps!
  4. Hello Everyone! I have recently purchased 2006 Lexus IS 220d with 86k on the clock. When the clutch was depressed there was a rattling noise coming from the gearbox. It would go away as soon as you pressed the clutch. Having consulted the local Lexus specialist I was advised this was the Dual Mass Flywheel which I have replaced along with the clutch. Now the rattling noise is gone but I get high vibration on the gearbox knob. This occurs when the car is stationery, in gear and clutch pressed (i.e. at the traffic lights). The level of vibration varies but occasionally the whole gearbox knob moves... Also when you drive the car you can feel vibration on the gearbox knob. Has anyone had a similar issues or perhaps know what can cause it? Also. The average MPG I get is 36. I do 60 miles a day, most of it on a motorway. I used to get 42-45 mpg when driving Honda Accord, so I was wondering if this was right? Thanks Marcin
