Interesting topic. I've been driving for over 40 years and have had very few accidents but in the 18 months since getting my CT I've scraped the passenger side of the car twice when turning corners in car parks! Is there something about the CT wheel track that I can blame or is it just me being careless in my old age?

Sport mode increases the voltage to the electric motor by 50% and also tightens up the steering. I flick it into Sport mode for faster overtaking but generally keep it in Normal. If the battery is charged enough then I really notice the increase in power for accelerating. I find that the biggest factor affecting my consumption is not which mode I use but the outside temperature. In the recent warm weather my consumption for the same journeys has gone up from around 50mpg to 59mpg and I can only put that down to the engine not needing to run to keep the car warm.
