Sorry for the late reply. Cleaned the filter that evening...not a pretty sight! Managed to clear it sufficiently in order for it to do some good until I get a new one. Been driving since with no error code (touch wood). Thanks for the response anyway

Hi everyone I've had the P1349 code thrown up and after an engine flush, oil and filter change it's still there, so I know there's no foreign body in the system. The engine is running okay, no misfire or drop in performance, so I'm now guessing it could be the oil control valve. Does anyone know roughly how much a new one may be? Going to be doing some long journeys soon and would like it sorted before then. In a separate issue (or possibly related?) my fuel consumption has recently shot up. I used to be able to get approx 100 miles to a quarter tank, but lately it's been more like 50-60. Tyres, oil, air filter, plugs and tracking all tip-top, no dragging of brakes. Any ideas? Thanks
