I bought an IS200 recently and it has 205/45 17's all round, it seems this is the incorrect size. The fronts need replacing while the rears still have a bit of life left.
If I buy a new set of fronts in the correct size this will mean the tyres will be slightly wider at the front, just wondering whether this is a bad idea or whether it should be fine for a while?
I did consider putting the rears on the front so the new wider tyres would be at the back, however the rears are not a brand I've heard of so in a way I'd like to keep them where the traction control is.. I can't really justify 4 new tyres this month, but I am going to replace the ditchfinders so it'll only be for a few weeks.
