Hello, thanks for all the help so far. I drove the car yesterday and it started from cold easily. But then as I was driving a few minutes later it stalled (the temperature gauge had only started to move) and would not restart immediately but started after a few minutes. I have read the error codes using the flashing engine light and got the following codes: 12, 13, 21, 28. From what I have read this is rpm signal 1 & 2, main oxygen sensor signal (twice?). Does this mean the oxygen sensor needs replacing and what does the rpm signal code mean? Thanks

No error codes, could it be the ecu capacitors? Is it worth taking the ecu out to check? If so is it under the drivers side or the passengers side in a RHD 96 ls400?

Hello, I recently bought my LS400 and it seems to have a problem. Sometimes when I come to start it, it cranks and turns over but does not start at all. It has happened 3 times now. I can come back to it a few hours later and it will start in a second and run no problem. It seems to happen when the temperature outside is < 10C, it has never happened during a hot start. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
