Hi guys, I have a is200 (2001). I'm looking to upgrade the power as the engine standard is a little lazy. I've seen that I can get a turbo upgrade parts etc installed for £3600. But I can only get a max of 280hp. I would prefer to get more if possible and the only way to do that is an engine conversion. I know that standard ls1 has round 300-400hp standard, no turbos. And that the 2jz standard has 300hp standard, no turbos (I think). My question for you lot is..... Which is a better conversion to get? A 2jz or ls1? I'm not looking for it to be used on track day events, just power for everyday use.... City and motorways.

Hi guys, Just a (hopefully) simple question. I have bought a hid kit for my is200 headlights, the lights are 6000k (aqua blue or something), can I get lights for the front bumper to match? I want them all to be the same colour essentially.

Hi, I'm trying to buy a new set of alloys but I am a bit stuck on the measurements of the dish sizes. I found an is200 with the dish size I want, can anyone tell me the size of the dish please?

@Guy I will try that shield bending. Didn't think of that. @Steve I cleaned the discs, the shields, regreased the sliders etc. But that's the thing I don't understand... Wouldn't the rubbing sound be constant, not just when I turn a corner or go over a bump. Thankyou for all your replies.

Hi, I'm new here. Just need some info. I recently changed the rear discs on my is200 due to high pitch squeaking. I got the hand brake shoes changed as well just in case. Now every time I turn left/ right or go over a speed bump a little bit aggressively, I hear the discs rubbing against something. Metal on metal sound. Which I don't understand as the front discs were changed a few months ago (they were changed a few months before the rear discs were changed) And me turning the wheel never caused this rubbing sound. I have grooved discs on all four wheels New pads New shoes The sound comes from all four when going over a bump. But only on one half of the car when turning round a corner.
