Clear wax them and shine them up Do NOT put abrasive polishes on them

You will not get a disc that works.
The system is not compatable in Europe.
You will have to change the full system which would be too costly.
Better off with a portable system.
Or I can give you a contact of an LOC member in the South of England who can advise on retro fitting a new system to work in conjunction with the OEM one.
His name is Luke, mention me if you contact him.

What is the eBay item No.

Load of sad wannabee coppers.
Probably got a pen and pad handy at all times taking down numbers!!!!
Should be done for careless driving! Some of them on there have hundreds of posts. Must drive around all day looking for " Offenders"

Cambelt replacement is 100K Just make sure that youhave FSH on the car other than that they are pretty much bulletproof.
Most Lexus alloys are prone to corrosion not just the RX model but there are always plenty on eBay.
Never had the dash rattle so cannot comment.
Good luck with your purchase I am sure that you will enjoy the RX

So, if you change company when your insurance comes up for renewal, make sure you make a point of telling your old insurer, preferably in writing and keep a copy of the letter and a note of who you speak to at your old insurer & when you did it.
That is your quote from your post.
so that is what you should have done. It works both ways. Say you forgot to "renew" your insurance on the exact date it was due and you had an accident and you were not insured. Your argument would be "I thiught it was renewed automatically".
If you know that you are going to cancel your insurance because of a new insurer then cancel your direct debit.

Guy does a replica AUDI R8 from a Ford Cougar....

I smell a rat - doesn't seem kosher to me. The 'Sun' sticker you see in the newspaper article is not on the visible door for a start. Added to which the somewhat minimalistic description with appauling spelling and equally appauling grammar doesn't ring true somehow.
"Appauling" Being spelled correctly.......Appalling

Wash it
Polish it
Service it.
It will not let you down.

For a guy that owns "hundreds of websites" your profile is pretty bare! Your grammar and spelling is not very good. And you can moan more than my Ex missus. I don't believe an intelligent guy buying a car would not check the paperwork before doing the deal.
You sound so knowledgeable about consumer affairs yet you buy a lemon!
If all what you say is true then name and shame the seller and I wish you luck in resolving the matter. That's if you haven't sued them all by then!
Good luck

I would suggest that you buy the timing belt from LEXUS It's a very important bit of kit, so go for the genuine part. If you buy one that is aftermarket and it fails you are talking a serious ammount of money. They are not that expensive.
The spoiler and other bits come up on Fleabay on a regular basis.

It's the mugs that buy it that keep him in business!

Cambelt change for the RX is 100K
Wind noise is not a serious issue. I have wind deflectors so don't notice it at all.
Mechacnics wise the RX is almost bulletproof. Just make sure of a genuine service history and keep to the service schedule.
OEM alloys on almost all the Lexus range don't last much longer than the warranty if they manage it. Either refurbs or aftermarket wheels are an option.
It is a great luxury SUV. Plenty of good examples out there and cheap money at the moment. Good luck in your purchase.

Correct size?
Just measure the ones already on the car!

I had BBS wheels on my RX when I first got it.
You just need to make sure that you get the correct offset.

You are lucky to live in a country with NHS
Most other countries you would be paying for treatment. As Bazza says had it been "urgent or life threatening" you would have been dealt with sooner.
Letters to solicitors and complaints only add pressure to the NHS and cost money.
Enjoy the new addition to your family and be thankful that the emergency services are only a free phonecall away when you need them most.
Obviously the baby is fine (I am glad) so it was not an emergency. Iv'e been stuck in traffic jams for more than 3 hours so it really is not a big deal.

I have had the Lexus map updates pinned on this forum.
