again Normski and Zoran..I am so grateful you have both taken the time to help..extremely informative..my eyes are opening ( I am tempering it with knowledge there will be lots driving about without problems) I do not mind problems they are inevitable, the cost of the 220d problems are a concern though..If I had a good one would I sell it? No way..so why is the one I am looking at being sold ..I am a sceptic..thanks again people..very kind helpful stuff -
thank you Zoran..Normski..I am thinking of getting a warranty from WWise (£40 odd quid a month) but at the moment I do not think it covers DPF/emissions..is the exhaust SSteel on a 220d?

what is the issue with Alloys being replaced so often? I see above some people have changed them 3 or 4 times..is this not bad driving? I am new and clueless so forgive me if I sound daft

thats great people thank you for your contributions ..keep them coming. It has a Lexus FSH but has 107k on the clock..whats the worst that could happen? The DPF thing?

Hi I am totally new here. Never owned a Lexus about to buy a 2006 is220d. Is there a way I can tell if it will have any major known issues you guys talk about or any tips or advice will be gratefully received. many thanks.Patrick (newbie)
