It's manual. I Checked the tyres and the rears are around 1mm off the legal "bump" in the tyre. They are Autotyre on the rears - , (Pirelli P6000 on the front) So I'm guessing I'm going to need new tyres on the back... (I'm an ex-company car driver, hence the question...) Is it best to get these online? If so where, and what should I get? Thanks Neil

Hi I'm a new-ish IS250 and Lexus driver plus a new rear wheel drive driver too. I've noticed that the backend of my IS250 is particularly loose in the wet, so much so I have to go around a roundabout so gingerly for fear of the back end slipping out. I can be doing 10mph, round a bend and the traction control warning comes on and the back starts slipping out. Now this doesn't feel right to me (I'm no mechanic...) Any thoughts on what the problem may be please? Thanks Neil

Ive installed a Dension Gateway BT lite in to my 2006 IS250 SE. Very pleased with it, works well, listened to music via bluetooth on a 2 hour trip no issues (iPhone 6) also uses the existing steering controls for next prev track, answering the phone. Hi, I've had my IS250 for a couple of weeks now and I am very pleased :) We are taking the car on a longish drive with my 16yr old son in the back. As you can imagine he has a few gadgets that need power and I don't like the idea of trailing leads out of the arm rest. After taking the rear air vent and ashtray assembly, I could see the plug running the power to the 12V socket in the arm rest. I looked and searched for something that I could use at the back but to no avail. So I've fashioned a prototype plate. I removed the ashtray and the bit inside, took a lid of a project box from maplin and cut it to the approximate shape (it is a prototype :) ) I cut the whole out for the dual 12v USB socket and connected it to the 12v socket in the arm rest. Here's a pic Is there a "real" aftermarket plate for this? Failing that I'll make it properly. Cheers Neil

Thought I'd say hi... I've never owned or driven a Lexus before, but I've just bought an late 2005 IS250, loving it so far :) Doing a few bits to it like fitting a Dension Gateway BT unit to give me Bluetooth phone and music; the clips on the engine covers were missing, so replacing those. But all in all very pleased. Here's a pic...
