  1. Hi. Just wondering if someone would be able to understand the following (I'm looking at 10/11 plates): 1. why do some f sport models have led day time strips whereas other don't? I have seen a few of different ages and so it's not down to age. 2. Why do some f sport models have more of a sculptured front bumper whereas others do not? Again I don't think is down to age
  2. I am in exactly the same position as what you find yourself in. How long have you owned your IS for?
  3. Hmm - I see what you mean. It must have decent torque though right? (Considering the engine is a V6)
  4. Hmm. Would the F-sport depreciate as quickly as the SE-L or is it too hard to judge?
  5. So I have been looking for an IS250 for a few months now. I have been looking for an SE-L model between the ages of 2006 to 2010. I have seen various ones but not yet bought anything. Last week however I seen an F-Sport model and I immediately knew it was the one. I have not yet bought it as I do not like to rush these kind of things. I have been doing my last little bits of research and I am now starting to doubt my choice of an IS250. A few things are bothering me: 1. Is the F-Sport worth the premium over the SE-L? From what I understand there is not much difference between the 2 2. Until now performance has always been a buying point for me. I have only ever bought performance cars ( i.e. VTEC/ V6's/ VVTLI etc) + manual gearbox. I decided for my next car to go auto but after reading up about the performance of the IS250, I’m worried I'm going to hate how slow the car is! - Not that I go around street racing but still, its sometimes nice to have the ability to put some power down on occasions. 3. Used to have a 3.5 litre V6, avg MPG was roughly 19. Purely city driving, what MPG should I expect to get in the IS250. (My current car does 24mpg - I’m not too bothered about this but it would be nice to know. 4. Lastly, 13k for an F-Sport with 50000K miles, one owner etc etc. Is this reasonable or am I better off waiting? I hate these second thoughts because after months of looking I thought I had found the perfect car for me. Can anyone help me out and put my issues to bed. Thanks.
