  1. Congratulations! Collected my F sport earlier this last week after a 5 month wait (I was lucky). So much to learn but so far v impressed. My insurance doubled compared to my previous NX300h, and whilst I expected it to be higher, that was a surprise. Did you struggle getting insurance? I'm wondering if some of the recent thefts of RX and the odd NX have suddenly increased the risk profile of Lexus cars across the board...
  2. Any updates from anyone taking delivery of a car in the last few weeks? Have we seen any evidence that MY24 cars are being built and shipped to the UK? It seems unclear whether the 2nd March build changeover to 24MY cars that has been mentioned applies to UK orders... Would seem unlikely / strange however for Lexus to be building 23MY cars on same production line as 24MY depending on the target market.

    GS F - WANTED

As the previous owner of a late facelift (with LSD) IS F for 10 years (it was a great car) I'm now ready to look at a GS F. Please get in touch (private message me) if you're thinking of selling and have a car fitting the following description: - Condition must be excellent with FLSH, serviced annually. - Low miles and low number of owners. - Azure Blue, Mesa Red or Sonic Silver. - Unmodified. Many thanks!
  4. Agree I've never seen a Mesa red GS F in the UK. Im surprised by your comment regarding Azure blue though, I've seen several azure blue cars over the years for sale and the odd sonic titanium (which is the multilayer silver with a hint of brown / grey in it - I'm not a fan). The Sonic silver is a bright silver and one of the few I've seen for sale appeared on Autotrader on Saturday. I think its been for sale before a few months back - too many miles for me and doesn't sound the best of examples with talk of damage to the boot. If any of you have something fitting my description and are considering selling over the coming months please feel free to get in touch! Cheers.

  6. Interesting info. The question still remains for all of us with cars on order - when will the UK get 2024 MY cars and will they be aligned with these changes... There seems to be zero info out there so far.
  7. My dealer tells me there is no official UK announcement re 2024 MY changes... I guess time will tell but for now, who knows when the new MY changes will arrive for UK vehicles and indeed whether they will match the recent EU announcement.
  8. That's an interesting example Simon. It would be amazing to think that the factory in Japan is churning out 2024 MY cars for Europe in the next few months but my car (which has an ETA of Q4) will be fitted out as a 2023 MY with different colour door cards, glovebox etc but on the same production line. Doesn't make sense to me and would be a logistical nightmare for the factory to manage. I'll ask my dealer and see what they say - will be interesting to see if the info the dealers have is consistent.
  9. The Lexus Europe announcement mentions "European introduction begins in spring 2023, with exact timing differing depending on each market." Based on the circa 10 - 12 months order to delivery time we're all faced with of late, there's surely a high chance any orders placed in recent months will be 2024 MY specification, ones placed earlier last year maybe less clear...
  10. Good to have PM with you Karl and pleased to hear my old ISF has gone to a great home and is being looked after in the style to which it is accustomed. Loved every minute of my 9 years with the car and hope you do too. Really enjoying my Maser Granturismo sport but also miss the IS-F, they're great cars. ps: "stock" is the way to keep it in IMO.
