Some misunderstanding. I mean engine temp is as high as it should be, but it is not hot as if You drive it for a long time. I never floor throttle when engine is cold.

Should i try injector cleaning fluid?

And i remember one thing: as i remember i asked lexus to check the sparks, they said it is ok. After ~3 months i asked my friend to check them. AND one spark plug that lexus checked was loose. How do you like that? Don't know if twitching began before lexus checked sparks...

The manager drove it and said it is normal, he felt something but they didn't find the reason! I asked about power loss so he said:"IS should be driven hard (yes,so?) and it gets fast after 3000rpm. He said it is normal (he is driving GS300 or 430) soi don't know if he said truth. Felt some vibrations, but comparing to his old IS200 my car is "fantastic". Don't know though..

About fuel filter...i thought about that, asked lexus to changed it and they kinda refused to do that. they said that toyota fuel filter don't choke or smth. Besides they never changed it in their history.

Yes, and they did that a few times...and guess what? Everything is fine! How can it be fine that there are so many problems? My pal engine specialist said that that lack of power is really not normal, it is scary. Please, give me any direction what to look for :(

It's me again... My car hates me or what? Problems are getting bigger! Lack of power when she warms up, throttle vibration when i floor it untill it gets to normal temperature, now it looks like the engine sometimes even twitches when i get to 4500 rpm. It should jump forward, but it looses power or twitches like something is stuck in the system. That also happens in lower revs.

Also :) after some harder driving engine don't want to start. Engine starts and shut down after a second like there is no fuel or doesn't start. My car is manual with pre-cats taken out.

i know You will suggest me to sell this car, but i don't want to, really :) In the morning i go with smile to my car, but when i get to work, my smile is left far far away...

Oh..also when power loss is felt my exhaust sound also changes to very low sporty sound!!!

I have that click when i depress clutch in 1st or rear gear going slowly. I feel it with my foot too. Lexus said, that is because Lexus is "rear wheel leading" vehicle. Don't know for sure

My 17'' with toyo proxes are more comfortable than 16'' bridgestone(winter tyres). Strange

It's because of the electronic throttle mate ................

Hence why the throttle needle does not go back down as quick as most non electronic throttle cars would !

But then, why my throttle vibrates sometimes when i floor it? I mean, can it be something wrong with electronics? if sometimes floored throttle gives very poor acceleration? I noticed that sometimes pedal is harder and sometimes it is very light to push.

"Oversteer", can You explain? As i remember it was the same before alignment and after it. Done alignment few days ago. Car reacts slowly to quick steering wheel turning or smthng. It feels like the rear wheels also turns with front ones. It would be normal if it were winter tyres 185/65, but on 215/45 it looks strange!

Hi, i noticed that my car is floating on the road when i go faster than 50 miles per hour. I mean, when i turn my steering wheel side to side it looks like if i turn it a little stronger i might turn around or roll over. I didn't notice that when i had Dunlop SP9000. Now i have Toyo Proxes 215/45 RZ17. PSi 33 all tyres. Alingnment is good

Any suggestions? Or am i just paranoid because of problems that i had in the past?

That is common thin with IS more or less. My IS does the same, just get used to it and You'll be fine. However the clutch may be worn because it is used car...

the constant yo-yo between good and bad performance of your car might be due to the oxygen sensors not being put in properly. They might not be properly plugged in, or they might not be working properly. Have you checked them?

Yes, they seems to be in their place tightened propertly. But if one of them wouldn't work propertly, shouldn't some lights blink on speedo?

I also checked the air vault area. Took the air filter off, with engine on and tried to accelerate. It looks like vault is not opening much, only when I floor the pedal and wait a second or it shouldn't be moving much 0-90 degrees?

Today my car was worse than ever, it drove shi*** even in high revs, i even felt some sort of vibration on accelerator pedal in high revs. So pre-cats were not the reason :(

Besides, guys, today i heard strange noise and remembered that this noise was onlu when car was in that kind of condition, i mean slow! The noise: i turned the engine off, after a second i heard strange noise, don't know how to describe it, but it looked like the air was going out from somewhere, and it repeated about 4 times. If don't know how to imagine the sound, think about the airplain shutting his engines off(slowly). Any ideas?

For me both are important, but more important how it drives... i think...

It would probably be very bright as these are quite bright - Theres a 9 LED one as well on ebay Chris but i think it was like £15 odd , a bit much really for a 501 bulb
